Lucy Hale’s Beauty Hack: Create Custom Lip Color

Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale has a cool beauty hack for creating a custom lip color with two different shades of lipstick.  Here is her simple two-step trick:

1. Apply one color on the top lip and another color on the bottom lip.
2. Blend.

In this video, Lucy Hale demonstrates this beauty hack by blending a burgundy lipstick (Mark. Lipclick Matte Full Color Lipstick in “Vixen”) with a hot pink lipstick (Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour in “La Diva”) to create her custom lipstick color.

PLL 6x14 Sneak Peek: Liars Wonder if Alison is Cyberstalker

The Liars wonder if Alison is sending them threatening texts in this sneak peek for Pretty Little Liars episode 6x14 “New Guys, New Lies”.

The Liars listen in as Emily calls Alison.  Apparently, Alison is at the Rollins’s family farm in Eastern Pennsylvania.  Alison claims that she’s on a dairy tour, but the Liars doubt she’s really tasting cheese right now.  They wonder if Alison is the person cyberstalking them.

The Liars may not know who it is, but they know that this new cyberstalker wants the Liars to spill who Charlotte’s murderer is.

Hanna, Spencer and Emily are still sure Ezra is the murderer, despite Aria’s denials.

The Liars see Detective Lorenzo Calderon giving a televised press conference.  The police have narrowed down their list of suspects in the murder investigation.  They already know what the murder weapon was.  Once they find the weapon, they are confident that the murderer will be brought to justice.

Do you think Alison is really taking a tour of a dairy farm?  Last time we saw Alison, she suspected one of the Liars murdered Charlotte.

Lucy Hale Nervous Filming New PLL Intro

When Pretty Little Liars came back for the second half of season 6, there was a new opening sequence to go along with the five year time jump.  In previous seasons, Aria (Lucy Hale) would do the “shhh”.  However, they decided to film a new intro with Aria, Spencer, Emily, Hanna and Alison taking turns doing the “shhh”.  Despite having filmed a similar intro before, Lucy Hale was actually nervous filming the new opening title sequence.

“It was nerve-wracking for me!” Lucy told ET.  Lucy felt pressure to put her finger at the center of her lips this time.  (For the original PLL opening title sequence they chose a take where Lucy’s finger was slightly off-center when she did the “shhh”, shown below).  “I was so excited that I finally got another chance to get my finger centered -- and I finally did!”

Ashley Benson Scared of Ian Harding During Ezra’s Yelling Scene (PLL 6x13)

Remember that scene in Pretty Little Liars episode 6x13 “The Gloves Are On” when Ezra loses it and screams at the girls to leave his loft?  Ashley Benson (Hanna) was genuinely scared when Ian Harding (Ezra) was screaming, but her BFF Shay Mitchell (Emily) had a different reaction.  She thought it was hilarious and couldn’t stop laughing.

“That scene actually scared me because I never have seen him like that! He scared me so bad because he was so loud and intimidating.” Ashley Benson told MTV UK.  Ashley hilariously added “I love him, but [usually] I always laugh at him - this time I was actually scared of him”.  Ashley credits Ian’s acting skills for terrifying her.  “Every time he did it, it was actually terrifying. He was so good in that scene. He made me jump out of my skin!”

PLL 6x14 Sneak Peek: Aria Lies to Sabrina

Aria tries to get into Ezra’s loft in this sneak peek of Pretty Little Liars episode 6x14 “New Guys, New Lies”.

Aria comes to the Brew looking for Ezra, but Sabrina says he’s out of town.  She doesn’t know where he went.  She doesn’t ask questions when he’s dark and depressed.  He disappears a lot, but he’s usually back in a few days.

Aria lies and tells Sabrina that Ezra already finished the next chapter of his book.  She asks if Sabrina can let her into Ezra’s loft.  She has to proofread the pages and her job is on the line.

Sabrina is sorry, but she can’t help Aria.  She doesn’t want to get fired from the Brew.

In the promo for Pretty Little Liars 6x14, we also see Emily snooping around the Brew.

PLL 6x14 Promo: Liars Breaking & Entering

The Liars slip into their old law-breaking habits in this promo for Pretty Little Liars episode 6x14 “New Guys, New Lies”.

Things are heating up between Spencer and Caleb.  Emily is surprised that Hanna is okay with Spaleb.

The new Big Bad thinks the Liars know who killed Charlotte, so the Liars are dragged into the mystery.  It looks like the Liars are still convinced Ezra killed Charlotte.  They wonder if a golf club was the murder weapon.

The Liars are five years older, but they are still breaking laws.  In their defense, they aren’t stealing anything.  Where are they breaking into?  Looks like Emily is caught snooping at the Brew.

The stress is getting to the Liars.  “I miss yoga class, I miss Boston, I miss sanity, Emily” Aria says.

Spencer and Caleb are both super smart, so it’s a good thing they are investigating together.  They enter a storage unit that is empty except for a trash can.  They open the trash can and find black hoodies, black gloves and a cell phone.  They get a text from Uber A that says “I don't lurk in the shadows. I hide in plain sight.”  "It's happening again, isn't it?" Spencer asks Caleb.

PLL Recap of 6x13 “The Gloves Are On”: Spaleb, Lucas is Back & Ezra Snaps

Lots of old faces return to Rosewood in Pretty Little Liars episode 6x13 “The Gloves Are On”.  Lucas Gottesman is back in town and is still the sweet and loyal guy we love.  Melissa is also back in town and she still has a complicated relationship with Spencer.  We even catch a glimpse of Pigtunia in Aria’s bedroom.  We find out why Emily is getting treatments, Spaleb is officially a thing and the Liars accuse Ezra of murdering Charlotte. 

There are definitely perks to having a mom who manages a luxury hotel.  Hanna’s mom gave her spa passes for the hotel spa.  Hanna, Spencer and Emily all relax with cucumbers slices over their eyes.  Aria wasn't invited?  The girls can’t stop talking about Ezra and Aria.  They still think Ezra murdered Charlotte to protect Aria.

Hanna mentions that she erased the hotel surveillance footage from the night Charlotte was murdered, which shocks Spencer and Emily.  Unable to relax anymore, they bolt before getting their salt rubs. 

On her way out, Emily sees Sara Harvey in the other spa room.  Emily demands to know why Sara is following her.  Sara says that she hasn’t been following Emily.  She was at the cemetery the other night to say goodbye to someone.

Hanna’s boss Claudia is in Tokyo and Hanna is in Rosewood, but that doesn’t mean Hanna is off the clock.  Hanna’s still running tons of errands for work, including the task of picking out a Munchkin cat for her boss.

Hanna runs into Lucas at The Brew.  Lucas is doing pretty well for himself.  He sold his company in Seattle and now he does game apps.  He’s driving a silver Jaguar.  He has a condo in Palo Alto, a townhouse in Hong Kong and a loft above The Grill in Rosewood.  Lucas is surprised that Caleb and Hanna split up.  Hanna tells Lucas about her fiancé, Jordan, before running off.

Lucy Hale Still Dating Boyfriend Anthony Kalabretta

Lucy Hale recently took to Twitter to deny the recent rumors that she had broken up with her musician boyfriend Anthony Kalabretta.

Rumors started circulating about a breakup after Taylor Swift lyrics suddenly appeared on her Instagram and Twitter accounts.  Fans thought Lucy was hinting at a breakup.  According to US Weekly, those Taylor Swift lyrics appeared because Lucy’s accounts were hacked.

Lucy responded to the breakup rumors by tweeting “false”.

Sasha Pieterse and her boyfriend Hudson Sheaffer got engaged in December and PLL co-star Shay Mitchell is happy for them.  (Check out photos of Hudson Sheaffer proposing to Sasha Pieterse).

Shay Mitchell (Emily on PLL) may be happy for them, but she joked that her character Emily wouldn’t be thrilled about the engagement.  Shay posted this photo of the three of them and captioned it “Love these two and are so happy for them and their engagement! ... Emily- not so much. Lol #emisonendgame”.

Ashley Benson Told She's “Too Fat” for Role

Ashley Benson, Hanna on Pretty Little Liars, is a stunning actress.  Unfortunately, she’s had to deal with judgements about her weight.  Ashley recently shared with Ocean Drive magazine that she didn’t land a role because she was “too fat”, despite being a size 2.  Ashley was devastated, but the experience made her a stronger person.

“I was just told I was too fat for a part. I’m a size 2!  I cried for 30 minutes, but then you have to let it roll off your shoulders or it could cause a serious eating disorder”  Ashley said.

Ashley knows this happens to other women, too.  She sees it as a problem with the entertainment industry.  “A lot of people in this industry hear they need to lose weight more times than they should. It does make you stronger, though. Because if you let that affect you, you can’t be in this industry — you’d go crazy” Ashley said.

Every actress on Pretty Little Liars is absolutely gorgeous, but this isn’t the first time they’ve had to deal with this topic.  Back in June, Sasha Pieterse (Alison on PLL) wrote a classy response to criticism of and comments regarding her weight.  And Troian Bellisario (Spencer on PLL) and Lucy Hale (Aria on PLL) have publicly talked about struggling with eating disorders when they were younger.

The Pretty Little Liars actresses have always spoken up about this unrealistic standard of beauty.  The PLL cast weren’t happy when previous Pretty Little Liars posters were heavily Photoshopped.

PLL Spoilers: Sara Harvey Burned After Getting Electrocuted

In “Charlotte’s Web” Pretty Little Liars episode 6x12, we learned that Sara Harvey has extensive burns that prevent her from using her hands.  The Liars have implied that the injury happened at Radley the night Charlotte was revealed as “A”, but the show hasn’t given us a full explanation as to how the injury happened.  Luckily, we won’t have to wait to find out.  Janel Parrish has spilled what really happened to Sara Harvey that night.

Janel Parrish, the actress who plays Mona on Pretty Little Liars, was asked by a PLL fan what happened to Sara Harvey.  Janel Parrish tweeted back “she got electrocuted when they stopped the bomb in the finale! She can't use her hands”.

NFL Players Reenact PLL Scene on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ & PLL Cast Responds

A couple NFL players reenacted a season 1 Pretty Little Liars scene on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and New York Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara reenacted the scene from the PLL pilot episode where Alison, who was interested in Melissa’s boyfriend Ian, threatened to tell Melissa that Spencer and Ian kissed.

Ryan Fitzpatrick played the role of Spencer Hastings, whom he described as “Alison’s rich and competitive best friend”.  Prince Amukamara, playing the role of Alison DiLaurentis, described her as “the ‘It Girl’ of Rosewood’s teen social circle”.  To get into character, they wore wigs.  Jimmy Fallon, who wasn't even in the skit, also decided to wear a wig.

PLL 6x13 Sneak Peek: Hanna & Spencer Worry About Police

Hanna’s freaking out in this sneak peek for Pretty Little Liars 6x13 “The Gloves Are On”.

Lorenzo knows the hotel’s surveillance camera footage was erased.  Hanna, freaking out, wants advice from Spencer and Spencer’s mom.

Spencer doesn’t want to ask her mom anything, since her mom is in the middle of her campaign.  And Spencer doesn’t have time to help, either.  She’s doing an interview.

Hanna tells Spencer that the police have a list of all the people who stayed at the hotel the night Charlotte was murdered.  All the Liars are going to get questioned by the police.

PLL 6x13 Sneak Peek: Spencer Questioned About Charlotte’s Death

The media is out for blood during an interview Spencer does for her mom’s campaign in this sneak peek for Pretty Little Liars episode 6x13 “The Gloves Are On”.

Spencer answers a reporter’s political questions, but the reporter soon asks about Charlotte’s death.  Spencer calls it an “upsetting event”, which surprises the reporter.  He, along with others on social media, assumed Spencer is celebrating Charlotte’s death.

The Rosewood police question Hanna’s mom in this sneak peek of Pretty Little Liars 6x13 “The Gloves Are On”.

Detective Lorenzo Calderon questions Hanna’s mom, Ashley Marin, about the hotel surveillance tapes from the night Charlotte was murdered.  He suspects someone erased the tape.  He demands a list of the hotel staff and the guests that stayed at the hotel.

PLL 6x13 Sneak Peek: Aria & Ezra Have Lunch

Aria finds out Ezra has a drinking problem in this sneak peek of Pretty Little Liars 6x13 “The Gloves Are On”.

Aria and Ezra have lunch at The Radley hotel to discuss Ezra’s book.  Aria looked at Ezra’s thumb drive in 6x12 “Charlotte’s Web”, but it only contained research on Nicole's death.  Ezra knows Aria won't give up, so he gives her the first chapter of his book.  He was writing it in Colombia, but then Nicole was kidnapped.  He never finished the second chapter. 

Hanna’s mom, Ashley Marin, is now the manager at the hotel.  She tells Ezra that they won’t serve him the beer that he ordered.  After a previous incident involving Ezra, The Radley is cutting him off from any alcohol.

Ezra is clearly going through a hard time.  He yells at the Liars in the promo for 6x13.

PLL 6x13 Promo: Melissa’s Back

The promo for Pretty Little Liars 6x13 “The Gloves Are On” heavily features Spaleb.

Spencer’s older sister Melissa is back in town.  She thinks something is going on between Spencer and Caleb, but Spencer insists they are just friends.

Hanna asks Spencer if she has feelings for Caleb.  Hanna doesn’t seem happy with Spencer’s response.

Hanna demands that Ezra own up to what he did.  (She probably still thinks Ezra murdered Charlotte).  The Liars go to his place and confront him.  “The person who made your life a living hell, I am not going to say I'm sorry they are dead because I am not” Ezra says.  Furious, he yells at Hanna, Spencer, Emily and Aria to get out.

PLL Recap of 6x12 “Charlotte’s Web”: Aria & Ezra Under Suspicion for Charlotte's Murder

In Pretty Little Liars episode 6x12 “Charlotte’s Web”, everyone wonders who killed Charlotte.  Suspicion is cast on both Aria and Ezra.  Alison is quick to throw her friends under the bus, but Hanna does what she can to protect Aria.  We also finally see Hanna’s fiancé Jordan and Aria’s boyfriend Liam.

The episode starts with the Liars hanging out and talking about guys.  Hanna’s fiancé, Jordan, knows everything about “A” and Hanna’s past.  Hanna told him everything when she fell in love with him.  Aria isn’t in love with Liam yet, so she hasn’t told him much about her past. 

Aria is about to leave Rosewood.  She’s heading back to Boston.  She’s already missed a few days of work.  Hanna doesn’t think Aria should leave town now.  The police are going to ask questions about the night Charlotte was murdered.

The Liars see Sara Harvey, who apparently needs someone to help sign her name whenever swipes her credit card.  After Charlotte was arrested, Sara Harvey claimed she had Stockholm syndrome, which Hanna doubts.  Sara was never kidnapped.  She chose to help Charlotte.  The Liars wonder if Sara killed Charlotte for revenge.

Hanna catches up with Aria as she is leaving.  Hanna didn’t want to say something in front of the others, but she knows Aria left the hotel room the night Charlotte was killed.  She woke up at 3 AM and saw Aria leave.  Aria insists that she just went to her car to get her phone charger.  Hanna doesn’t believe her, but Aria refuses to say anything else.

Lucy Hale Talks Sandra Bullock & Ellen DeGeneres

Lucy Hale (Aria on PLL) was a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.  Lucy talked to Jimmy Fallon about her experience at the People’s Choice Awards.  (Watch Troian Bellisario flipping off the cameras at the People’s Choice Awards.  Also, here are photos of the PLL cast at the award show).

At the People’s Choice Awards, Lucy was excited when Sandra Bullock and Ellen DeGeneres were among those who gave the Pretty Little Liars actresses a standing ovation after they won for Best Cable TV Drama.

Lucy Hale on Hallmark’s ‘Home and Family’

Lucy Hale made an appearance on Hallmark’s Home & Family.  On the show, she talked about PLL fan reactions to episodes of Pretty Little Liars.

PLL castmate Keegan Allen (Toby) has also made an appearance on Hallmark’s Home and Family back in February.  He talked about a ride-along he did with the Los Angeles Police Department to help him prepare for his role as a cop on Pretty Little Liars.

Troian Bellisario Talks Potential Spencer & Caleb (Spaleb) Hookup

Are Spencer and Caleb dating now?  “Of Late I Think of Rosewood” showed that Spencer and Caleb have gotten pretty close during the five year time jump.  Caleb was even in Washington, D.C. with Spencer when she received Alison’s letter.  And in a promo for PLL season 6B, it looked like Toby possibly punches Caleb (thought it was hard to tell from the clip).  Is it crazy to think Spencer and Caleb may have hooked up?  According to Troian Bellisario, who plays Spencer on PLL, Caleb and Spencer have a lot in common.

“The interesting thing for me this season is that Spencer and Caleb have always had an incredible relationship.  They’re always the smartest people in the room, so they really respect each other, and they love hanging out. And the thing is, they both have incredible love for each other and for Hanna,” Troian told Bustle.

Troian went on to explore the possibility of Spencer and Caleb dating, despite their mutual love for Hanna.  Troian explains that Spencer and Caleb are both different people than they were in high school.  “First of all, they’re consenting adults that have aged five years.  And while of course you would hate it if one of your best friends got involved in a relationship with whom you loved in high school — that would be a huge betrayal — you don’t know these people after five years. They’re very different. They’ve gone through a lot of different things.”

“The Liars start to look at one of their own as questions arise regarding the new mystery.

Lucy Hale Eats Larvae & Grasshoppers

PLL star Lucy Hale (Aria) munched on chocolate covered larvae and grasshopper tacos when she stopped by the show LIVE with Kelly and Michael.

Lucy Hale loves Andrew Zimmerman’s show Bizarre Foods.  Lucy said she will try anything once, so Michael and Kelly brought out “weird food” for Lucy to choose from.  Lucy didn’t back down and she was definitely up for the food challenge.

Michael and Kelly presented Lucy with chocolate covered larvae, ox tongue, grasshopper tacos and cold jelly fish.  Lucy immediately ruled out the ox tongue.  Kelly warned her not to eat the jelly fish. 

Lucy Hale went with the chocolate covered larvae first, since it had chocolate.  Lucy then tried the grasshopper tacos and she actually enjoyed them. 

Lucy Hale is absolutely hilarious in this video.  After eating the grasshopper taco, Lucy says “I feel like I have the legs in my teeth right now”.  Watch to see Lucy gamely eating larvae and grasshoppers:

David Coussins Cast as Hanna’s Fiance Jordan on PLL

Actor David Coussins was cast to play Hanna Marin’s new fiancé Jordan.  (In the “5 Years Forward” special, we learned Hanna met Jordan in Europe.  Hanna and Caleb broke up because Hanna was always busy with her work in the fashion world and she didn't make time for Caleb).

David Coussins is an Australian actor.  He recently credits include the movies The Wrong Side of Right and Mates.  He is also in the upcoming movie Born Guilty.

Although Caleb was the perfect boyfriend for Hanna, it looks like Jordan will also be a really great guy.  “Hanna is in the fashion industry when we meet her and they met through their worlds colliding. He’s kind of her rock. There’s an interesting quote that she says in one of the episodes — before she met Jordan, she was always spinning and twirling and she doesn’t spin and twirl now. He keeps her grounded” PLL showrunner Marlene King told Variety.

We will first see Jordan in "Charlotte's Web" episode 6x12.  (In the Canadian promo for 6x12, we see Jordan suprising Hanna in her hotel room).

Even if Jordan is a great guy, hopefully Caleb and Hanna will find their way back to each other.  Who else is rooting for Haleb?

We’ll see Hanna and Aria’s new guys in PLL episode 6x12 “Charlotte’s Web”.  Hanna’s fiancé, Jordan, comes to Rosewood to surprise Hanna.  And Aria kisses her new boyfriend Liam.

Alison wonders why Aria left town so quickly.  Does she suspect that Aria killed Charlotte?

Emily wants to know what Ezra was doing with Aria at the hotel on September 12 at 3:12 AM.

Troian Bellisario’s BFF Lulu Brud Zsebe makes another appearance as Sabrina.  Sabrina seems concerned about Emily.  In “Of Late I Think of Rosewood” episode 6x11 we found out Emily may have a drug problem, so maybe Sabrina suspects that Emily is using?  (Sabrina was the one who gave Spencer pot brownies in “O Brother, Where Art Thou” episode 6x07).

PLL Cast at Freeform Launch Party

Janel Parrish (Mona on PLL) and Keegan Allen (Toby on PLL) both attended the Freeform Launch Party to celebrate ABC Family’s name change.  Artistic pancakes and wearable art (bracelets printed with a 3D printer) were the highlights of the event.

Emily’s mom asks if Emily has been to the cemetery.  The DiLaurentis’s plot is near where Emily’s dad is buried, so she thought Emily may have went after Charlotte’s funeral. 

Emily’s mom wants Emily to come with her to visit the grave, but Emily doesn’t want to go.

Emily’s mom doesn’t want to force her to go, but Emily hasn’t been there since the funeral.  Emily hasn’t even seen her dad’s headstone.

Emily uses Alison as an excuse, saying that she can’t go because Alison needs her.

PLL 6x12 Promo: Liars Suspect Aria Killed Charlotte?

Are the Liars really turning on one of their own?  In the promo for Pretty Little Liars 6x12 “Charlotte’s Web”, the Liars question Aria about the night Charlotte was murdered.

Hanna knows Aria left the hotel the night Charlotte was killed.  Aria was caught on the hotel surveillance camera.  By the time Aria came back to the room, Charlotte was already dead.  Hanna, Spencer and Emily demand answers from Aria.

Meanwhile, Aria is busy questioning Ezra about his whereabouts that night.  We see Ezra following a blonde girl in a red top entering the church.

Later, we see both Aria and Ezra together on the hotel surveillance camera footage on September 12 at 3:12 AM.

Alison meets with Officer Lorenzo, who wants to know if Alison thinks her friends had anything to do with Charlotte’s murder.

PLL Recap of 6x11 “Of Late I Think of Rosewood”: Charlotte is Murdered

“Of Late I Think of Rosewood” episode 6x11 of Pretty Little Liars brings the Liars reluctantly back to Rosewood.  The Liars were happily living five “A”-free years and have seemingly moved on.  They have new jobs and are in new relationships.  However, they get dragged back to Rosewood when Alison petitions the court to get Charlotte ("A") released.  Alison once again begs her friends to lie for her.  The Liars don’t have long to hang out with each other before Charlotte ends up dead and they are dragged back into a world of murder and secrets.

Alison DiLaurentis is now an English teacher at Rosewood High.  Dr. Rollins stops by to tell her that the judge set a date for Charlotte/CeCe’s hearing.  They’ve been working together to get Charlotte released.  Alison is sure her friends will help get Charlotte released, despite Dr. Rollins’s doubts.  Alison writes letters to her friends and asks them for help.

Alison’s letter reaches the other Liars, who are scattered in different areas.  Spencer Hastings is in Washington, D.C., Aria Montgomery is in the publishing business in Boston, Hanna Marin is off traveling for her fashion job, and Emily Fields is a bartender in California.

Alison writes the same letter to all four girls.  She reminds her friends of how close they are and how they understand each other better than anyone else.  She knows the Liars will be back in Rosewood to speak to the court about Charlotte's release.  Alison asks for five minutes to explain why Charlotte should be free.

Emily is the first of the Liars to arrive at The Brew.  She's clearly been through a lot during the time jump.  She takes a bunch of pills before her friends show up.  After taking tons of selfies, they all sit down and catch up.  Hanna talks about her job working for a fashion designer.  Hanna is engaged a new guy, Jordan.  Aria jokes that Hanna’s engagement ring looked bigger when she posted it.

The PLL cast stopped by The View to talk to host Raven-Symoné about the Pretty Little Liars winter season premiere, winning a People's Choice Award for ‘Favorite TV Cable Drama’ (check out the video of Troian Bellisario flipping off the camera at the People’s Choice Award show), Ashley Benson's prank on Shay Mitchell and Troian Bellisario’s hilarious fan mail responses.

Ashley Benson talked about her birthday prank on Shay Mitchell.  Ashley Benson is a huge prankster and she loves making people laugh.  On her BFF Shay Mitchell’s birthday, Ashley hid in Shay’s dressing room bathroom.  Ashley blasted Beyonce and did a dance for Shay while wearing a robe and a fatsuit. 

Troian Bellisario also talked about some of the crazy fan mail she receives and the hilarious responses she wrote (check out photos of Troian’s awesome responses to her fan mail).  Apparently, people think she looks like actress Josie Loren, who played Kaylie Cruz in ABC Family's show Make It or Break It.

Shay Mitchell shared some advice her dad gave her.

PLL stars Lucy Hale (Aria), Ashley Benson (Hanna), Troian Bellisario (Spencer), Sasha Pieterse (Alison) and Shay Mitchell (Emily) appeared on Good Morning America today to promote the winter premiere of Pretty Little Liars.

Troian Bellisario did a quick recap of what happens to the Liars during the five year time jump.

They also talked about the “A” reveal from “Game Over, Charles” where we learned that Charlotte (CeCe) was “A”.  Lucy Hale was one of the few people who didn’t know who “A” was ahead of time.  She thought it came out of left field.  Lucy thinks she was at the table read when she found out who “A” was.

When asked which character they would pick if they could bring back any character to life, Ashley Benson picked Mrs. DiLaurentis because the actress (Andrea Parker) is the sweetest person ever.  (The role of Mrs. DiLaurentis was actually recast.  In the pilot episode of PLL, Mrs. DiLaurentis was played by actress Anne Marie DeLuise).

The PLL actresses were also asked if they hang out together when they aren’t on set.  Shay Mitchell said they all have their own groups of friends, but ever once in a while they’ll have dinner together.

When asked about Emison, Sasha Pieterse said PLL showrunner Marlene King often says that Alison and Emily will always have a special bond.  The actresses don’t know where Marlene King will go with that relationship, but Sasha explains her character will be engaged when PLL returns.  GMA also congratulated Sasha Pieterse on her recent engagement to boyfriend Hudson Sheaffer (he proposed to her in Temecula).

PLL Season 6B Fashion (After 5 Year Time Jump)

The Liars have changed a lot during the five year time jump.  They have new relationships, new jobs and new clothes.  How exactly has the fashion changed for season 6B?  PLL Costume Designer Cameron Dale gives us a tour of the updated Pretty Little Liars wardrobe trailer.  Cameron explains how the Liars changed their style based on what they’ve been through during the five year time jump.

Aria Montgomery:
Since Aria was living in Boston, her look has evolved into a Carrie Bradshaw Sex and the City type of look.  Aria’s style is still funky.  She still mixes patterns and has some fun pieces.  However, her clothes now have a bit of the East Coast flair to it.

Hanna Marin:
Hanna moved to New York and works in fashion, so she’s wearing a lot of black.  Hanna also wears tons of leather and crop tops. 

Emily Fields:
Emily spent the last five years in Southern California for the last five years.  Emily is the Liar whose style has changed the least.  However, her look has a bit more of a beach vibe going on.

Spencer Hastings:
Spencer has been in Washington D.C.  For Spencer’s look, they channeled Katharine Hepburn.  Spencer now wears pleated, high-waist trousers.  Spencer is still her preppy self, just a bit more grown up.

PLL 6x11 Sneak Peek: Aria & Dad Talk About Ezra & Liam

Is Aria going to be torn between her new boyfriend Liam and her old boyfriend Ezra in the second half of season 6?  In this sneak peek of PLL 6x11 “Of Late I Think of Rosewood” Aria talks to her dad about Liam and Ezra.

Aria’s new boyfriend, Liam, is making a good impression on Aria’s dad.  Aria hands her dad (Byron Montgomery) a gift from Liam.  Liam wanted him to have the James Tiptree book of short stories.

Aria’s dad is surprised that Aria plans to meet up with the rest of the Liars at The Brew, instead of at the new Radley.  Aria had no idea that Ezra was back in Rosewood.  Apparently, Ezra still owns The Brew and he moved into the apartment above it.

PLL Cast on Time Jump & Maturity for Season 6B

The Pretty Little Liars actresses are excited about the five year time jump, which will make the show more mature.  They are happy that they will finally get to play characters closer to their actual ages.  Here’s what PLL stars Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, Sasha Pieterse and Shay Mitchell have to say about the show post-time jump.

The PLL actresses are more than happy to leave high school behind and have their characters grow up.

“It's nice to have mature conversations out of a high school setting” Ashley Benson (Hanna) said.  Now that the Liars are of age, they will be doing a lot of drinking on the show.  “It's so funny because the writers have us drinking in almost every scene to show that we're age-appropriate.  But it's been fun.  I think all of us have had a really good time and it's fun to kind of develop a new sense of the character” Ashley added.

PLL Season 6B Mona Spoilers

The PLL special “5 Years Forward” gave us an idea of what is in store for the Liars and their significant others after the five year time jump, but the episode didn’t tell us that much about Mona Vanderwaal.  (Although we found out that Mona doesn't believe Charlotte has changed).  Janel Parrish, who plays Mona on PLL, talked in this interview about what to expect from her character after the five year time jump.

We know the Liars are forced to go back to Rosewood to testify about Charlotte in court (Alison wants the Liars to convince the court that Charlotte is no longer a threat).  However, Mona will also be forced to return to Rosewood.  "She, too, is forced back to Rosewood and has a new mystery to face that kind of bonds the five of them together again, whether they want to be or not," Janel Parrish explained.

Mona will look a little more conservative when she returns to Rosewood after five years away, but she’s still the same Mona we know.  It won’t be clear if Mona can be trusted, but that makes Mona a fun character for Janel to play.  "She still kind of shows up where you don't expect her to show up and says a couple things that make you curious about what her true intentions are.  But I think that will always be a part of Mona no matter what and I think that's something that makes her character really fun" Janel said.

PLL Wins & Troian Bellisario Flips Off Camera at People’s Choice Award 2016

Pretty Little Liars won ‘Favorite Cable TV Drama’ at the People’s Choice Awards 2016, beating Bates Motel, The Fosters, Rizzoli & Isles and Suits for the honor.  PLL stars Lucy Hale (Aria), Ian Harding (Ezra), Ashley Benson (Hanna), Troian Bellisario (Spencer) and Shay Mitchell (Emily) were at the award show to accept the award.  Troian Bellisario’s acceptance speech was certainly unique, particularly the part where she flipped off the cameras when she ran out of time to talk.

In her speech, Troian Bellisario thanked PLL showrunner Marlene King, Pretty Little Liars author Sara Shepard and PLL producer Lisa Cochran.  Troian also made sure to mention ABC Family’s name change.  (ABC Family will become Freeform on January 12th).

Troian expressed her love for the PLL cast.  “I cannot imagine a more beautiful, kind or incredible group of people, family, than the people I’m standing up with right now” Troian said.

Troian Bellisario’s speech was going great until she was told to wrap it up.  Troian quickly flipped the camera off and continued to thank the PLL fans in her speech.

Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale and Shay Mitchell were all competing for the ‘Favorite Cable TV Actress’ award, but Rizzoli & Isles actress Sasha Alexander won that category.

PLL 6x11 Sneak Peek: Emily & Mom Talk About Greg

In this sneak peek for PLL 6x11 “Of Late I Think of Rosewood” Emily is back in Rosewood for Charlotte’s hearing.

Emily asks her mom about Greg (presumably her mom’s new boyfriend).  Emily doesn’t see happy to hear that her mom and Greg are taking a break.  She thought her mom was happy with Greg.  (In the “5 Years Forward” special, we learned that Emily’s dad died during the five year time jump.  Emily dropped out of Pepperdine University after that and ended up bartending in California.  Emily comes back to Rosewood with a huge secret that she keeps from the other Liars.)

PLL Cast Answer Trivia in “A or Bae?” Game

How well does the PLL cast know their own show?  The PLL cast plays "A or Bae?" and answers trivia questions about the show.  They were asked questions and had to choose if things were done by “A” or Bae (PLL hotties Lucas, Caleb, Ezra, Jason, Detective Wilden and Caleb).

Sasha Pieterse (Alison), Marlene King (PLL showrunner), Troian Bellisario (Spencer), Ashley Benson (Hanna) and Oliver Goldstick (PLL producer) all played “A or Bae?”.  They nailed most of the questions.

They only stumbled on two questions.  PLL producer Oliver Goldstick couldn’t remember who put the cow brain in Mona’s locker in “She’s Better Now” episode 3x14.  (The answer was Caleb).

Sasha struggled with remembering who destroyed Alison’s memorial.  She first guessed “A” and then Ezra.  The correct answer was Lucas.

Lucy Hale’s Favorite Disney Character is Mulan

Lucy Hale (Aria on PLL) has a lot of favorite Disney characters, but her absolute favorite character is Mulan.

Mulan was one of Lucy Hale’s favorite Disney movies growing up.  She liked that Mulan was a strong female character.  Lucy was a feminist even as a young girl.  She thought it was cool that Mulan got to do the same things that the guys were doing.

Have you heard the Lucy Hale and Rascal Flatts country version of "Let It Go" from the Disney movie Frozen?  Lucy Hale’s favorite Disney character may be Mulan, but she makes a pretty good Elsa too.
