Ashley Benson on Hanna’s Fate & Possibility of a Liar Getting Killed Off

The season 6 finale of Pretty Little Liars ended with a cliffhanger. A-moji, who we now know goes by A.D., abducted Hanna. We last saw Hanna unconscious. Someone was dragging her to the church bell tower. Hanna had blood on her face and flowers on her chest. Will Hanna be okay? Actress Ashley Benson spoke about Hanna’s fate and what she hopes will happen to her character in season 7 of PLL.

Ashley couldn’t spill many details about Hanna’s fate. “Let’s hope that Hanna’s okay. That’s all I can say. Let’s hope that she’s alive and doing well,” Ashley said.

Ashley thinks it’s possible that a main Liar might get killed off. PLL showrunner Marlene King has hinted at that to make PLL fans curious.

Ashley doesn’t really know what will happen next for her character. “I’m actually really nervous,” Hanna said. Hanna hopes that Haleb will get back together and that Hanna will be alive in season 7.

PLL 6x19 Sneak Peek: Lucas & Hanna

Does Lucas still have a thing for Hanna?  Lucas has always been into Hanna and he seems happy when he hears Hanna arguing with Jordan in this sneak peek of Pretty Little Liars episode 6x19 “Did You Miss Me?”.

Since Aria got burned by the fireplace when Lucas’s smart loft went crazy last episode, Lucas is back in Rosewood running system diagnostics.  He doesn’t know what caused the malfunction.  Lucas listens in on Hanna’s phone conversation with her fiancé Jordan.

Jordan wants Hanna to head back to New York, but Hanna is staying in Rosewood.  Lt. Tanner wants her to stick around.  Besides, Hanna would just spend her time in New York worrying about Aria and her other friends.

Hanna got Lucas some ties as a thank you present for letting her stay in his loft.  She attached Post-it notes telling him which clothes match the ties, which is essentially Garanimals for grown-ups.

Lucas is back in Rosewood to check out some properties.  He might buy an empty factory to give Rosewood some tax revenue.  Lucas decided to give Rosewood a second chance, which Hanna understands.  The Liars all left so fast that they didn’t realize what they left behind.

It’d be interesting to see if sparks fly between Lucas and Hanna.  They seem like they would make a cute couple.  In the past, it was never going to work because of Caleb.  Now that Caleb has moved on with Spencer, maybe there’s a chance for Hanna and Lucas?  Are you rooting for Haleb or do you want to see Hanna with Lucas or Jordan?

PLL Sneak Peek 6x15: Cyberstalker Threatens Hanna’s Relationship with Jordan

Uber “A” threatens to break up Hanna and Jordan in this sneak peek of Pretty Little Liars episode 6x15 “Do Not Disturb”.

Despite Hanna’s promise to be honest to her fiancé (Jordan), she is forced to tell more lies when the new “A” sends another threatening text.  “A” demands the hard drive with the hotel’s security camera footage on it.  If Hanna doesn’t hand it over, she’ll end up with a broken heart.  Hanna ends up lying to Jordan as she tries to explain why she can’t spend more time with him.

Jordan seemed sweet last episode when he was quick to forgive Hanna’s lie.  Do you want Jordan to stick around or are you hoping for Haleb?

PLL 6x14 Sneak Peek: Hanna Ready to Tell Mom & Jordan the Truth

Hanna doesn’t want to keep secrets from her fiancé, so she’s ready to tell him that she erased The Radley’s surveillance camera footage.  Here’s Hanna talking to Emily about Jordan in this sneak peek of Pretty Little Liars episode 6x14 “New Guys, New Lies”.

Hanna and Caleb may have had an epic relationship, but it seems like Hanna really is happy with Jordan.  “Ever since I’ve been back here, all I’ve done is spin and twirl.  And with Jordan, I don’t spin and I don’t twirl” Hanna tells Emily.  “He keeps me grounded and I really like how that feels.”

Hanna has been honest with Jordan about her past, so she regrets lying to him about the hotel’s security tapes.  Hanna is ready to tell both her mom and Jordan that she was responsible for deleting the footage.  She just hopes Jordan will still want to marry her after she comes clean.

PLL 6x13 Sneak Peek: Hanna & Spencer Worry About Police

Hanna’s freaking out in this sneak peek for Pretty Little Liars 6x13 “The Gloves Are On”.

Lorenzo knows the hotel’s surveillance camera footage was erased.  Hanna, freaking out, wants advice from Spencer and Spencer’s mom.

Spencer doesn’t want to ask her mom anything, since her mom is in the middle of her campaign.  And Spencer doesn’t have time to help, either.  She’s doing an interview.

Hanna tells Spencer that the police have a list of all the people who stayed at the hotel the night Charlotte was murdered.  All the Liars are going to get questioned by the police.

David Coussins Cast as Hanna’s Fiance Jordan on PLL

Actor David Coussins was cast to play Hanna Marin’s new fiancé Jordan.  (In the “5 Years Forward” special, we learned Hanna met Jordan in Europe.  Hanna and Caleb broke up because Hanna was always busy with her work in the fashion world and she didn't make time for Caleb).

David Coussins is an Australian actor.  He recently credits include the movies The Wrong Side of Right and Mates.  He is also in the upcoming movie Born Guilty.

Although Caleb was the perfect boyfriend for Hanna, it looks like Jordan will also be a really great guy.  “Hanna is in the fashion industry when we meet her and they met through their worlds colliding. He’s kind of her rock. There’s an interesting quote that she says in one of the episodes — before she met Jordan, she was always spinning and twirling and she doesn’t spin and twirl now. He keeps her grounded” PLL showrunner Marlene King told Variety.

We will first see Jordan in "Charlotte's Web" episode 6x12.  (In the Canadian promo for 6x12, we see Jordan suprising Hanna in her hotel room).

Even if Jordan is a great guy, hopefully Caleb and Hanna will find their way back to each other.  Who else is rooting for Haleb?

PLL Season 6B Fashion (After 5 Year Time Jump)

The Liars have changed a lot during the five year time jump.  They have new relationships, new jobs and new clothes.  How exactly has the fashion changed for season 6B?  PLL Costume Designer Cameron Dale gives us a tour of the updated Pretty Little Liars wardrobe trailer.  Cameron explains how the Liars changed their style based on what they’ve been through during the five year time jump.

Aria Montgomery:
Since Aria was living in Boston, her look has evolved into a Carrie Bradshaw Sex and the City type of look.  Aria’s style is still funky.  She still mixes patterns and has some fun pieces.  However, her clothes now have a bit of the East Coast flair to it.

Hanna Marin:
Hanna moved to New York and works in fashion, so she’s wearing a lot of black.  Hanna also wears tons of leather and crop tops. 

Emily Fields:
Emily spent the last five years in Southern California for the last five years.  Emily is the Liar whose style has changed the least.  However, her look has a bit more of a beach vibe going on.

Spencer Hastings:
Spencer has been in Washington D.C.  For Spencer’s look, they channeled Katharine Hepburn.  Spencer now wears pleated, high-waist trousers.  Spencer is still her preppy self, just a bit more grown up.

PLL 6B Spoilers: Hanna is Engaged, But No Children Yet

Ashley Benson, Hanna on PLL, is excited about Hanna’s new life and new relationship.  When we return for season 6B of Pretty Little Liars, Hanna will be engaged.  Unfortunately for Haleb fans, she isn’t engaged to Caleb.  However, Ashley is ready to explore Hanna's new storyline.

Ashley Benson told TVLine “I’m excited for her to have this new chapter in her life”.  Ashley is ready for the change of pace that these new developments will bring to the show.

Ashley was a little disappointed that Hanna isn’t a mother after the five year time jump.  In the video of the first four minutes of episode 6x11 “Of Late I Think of Rosewood”, it looked like Hanna had a kid.  It turned out Hanna was only watching the toddler until the kid’s mother returned.  “I was so excited when I first read that scene.  When I read on and realized it wasn’t hers, I was like, ‘No!'” Ashley said.

PLL Sneak Peek 6x05: Mona Still Scared of Alison

Mona shows up unexpectedly at Hanna’s house in this sneak peek of PLL 6x05 “She’s No Angel”.

Mona is back in Rosewood, but she doesn’t look like the Mona we all know.  Mona’s dressed in all black and is wearing sunglasses.  She got back from the spa late last night.  It doesn’t look like the relaxation helped her any. 

Hanna tells her about the cops that follow the girls around 24/7.  They even stand outside the bathroom at school.

Mona wishes that she never came back to Rosewood.  She doesn’t feel safe being in the same zip code as Alison.  She’s sure Alison is plotting revenge for Mona sending her to jail for months.

Hanna tries to get Mona to worry about the bigger issue: “A” is still out there.

Mona asks Hanna to take her to the police station.  She doesn’t want to go in there alone.  They might press charges against her for faking her death.  The investigation into her death cost the taxpayers more than Rosewood’s new sewer system.  She committed a crime and she doesn’t think the cops will look after her like they are looking after Hanna.

Hanna tells Mona that the cops are looking for “A”.  They all are.  They have to track down anyone who had contact with Charles DiLaurentis.  Someone who worked at Radley has to know something.

Are you glad Mona is back in town?  We know how smart Mona is.  Maybe she can help the Liars figure out who “A” is.

PLL Romance Spoilers for Season 6

It’s time for a PLL romance checkup for season 6.  Things look pretty bleak for the Liars, since they will be traumatized from their time spent trapped in the dollhouse.  What’s in store for them romantically when they finally escape the dollhouse?  Pretty Little Liars executive producer Oliver Goldstick spilled some juicy spoilers to ET Online for Hanna, Aria, Spencer, Emily and Alison’s love lives.

Hanna and Caleb have always had a relatively stable relationship.  They have always had each other’s backs and have been supportive.  However, they may start to have some issues in season 6.  After escaping from the dollhouse, Hanna may start pushing Caleb away.

"Because of her trauma, she might not be able to appreciate how great Caleb is right away in [season] six”, Oliver Goldstick said.  Caleb, however, will continue to be the sweet boyfriend that we love.  "I think he's always been there to support her with every decision she makes, and I think he remains the perfect boyfriend in so many ways."  So it looks like there is still hope for Haleb fans.

Aria and Ezra have had ups and downs for the past few years and at the end of season 5 they were no longer together.  They managed to make it through the bombshell reveal that Ezra was keeping secrets and writing a book about Alison.  However, things started to fall apart when Ezra realized that Aria regretted missing out on the typical high school experience because of her secret relationship with him,.  Ezra thought Aria spending time away from him was the only way to have a healthy relationship in the future, but that pushed her closer to Andrew Campbell.

Andrew seemed pretty sweet and he clearly wanted to be the guy Aria turned to.  He acted a little suspicious the night Aria’s brother got beat up, though.  We also saw him eavesdropping on a phone conversation between Spencer's mom and Melissa.  And we can’t forget that “A”’s lair was at the old Campbell farm.  Which guy is in Aria’s future?

Oliver Goldstick gives some hope to all the Ezria shippers.  Looks like it isn’t going to be easy for Aria to stay away from Ezra.  “Part of her knows that she and Ezra need to go their separate ways, but something happens in the beginning of [season] six A that brings them very close together again.  This will be a challenge and they're both going to have to deal with it. It's a mixed message from the universe."

Don’t expect Ezra and Aria to get together right away, though.  PLL showrunner Marlene King said Aria and Ezra's breakup was necessary.

Spencer and Toby started having issues when Toby became a Rosewood police officer.  Spencer ended up kissing two guys, Johnny and British hottie Colin, when Toby kept pushing her away.  Spencer and Toby didn't break up, though.  They  kissed before "A" kidnapped Spencer.  However, in season 6 Spencer is going to be a bit preoccupied with investigating “A”.  That’s going to put her romantic life on the back burner for a while.

"Spencer will be challenged as well, but the great news is she's got an inside track at the Rosewood PD.  So Spencer -- who has always led a lot of this mystery train -- holds the key because she was obviously the first one to see [Charles'] movie.  I would just say that her romance may get a little addled by the mystery of it all, but that doesn’t mean her romance goes away completely".  So it doesn’t seem like we will see that much of Spoby in season 6.

Emily hasn’t had much luck in the romance department.  Her first girlfriend, Maya, is thought to be dead.  And her on-again/off-again girlfriend Paige moved to California.  Her romance with The Brew’s chef Talia was short-lived and seemed doomed to fail since she was married.  It looks like Emily has already met her soul mate, though.

"She might just realize that she's now got a soul mate closer to her than she ever thought.  And the dollhouse will have been a big factor in a shift of what Emily wants in a partner. Who and what she wants", Oliver said.

What does this mean for Paily and Emison fans?  We know Paige will be making an appearance in season 6.  Do you think Emily realizes Paige is her soul mate?  And is Maya really dead?  There have been hints that “A” may have tried to kill Maya.

Alison’s stint in jail meant that she didn’t have much of a romance life.  She was a bit busy fighting for her life.  Now that she’s out of jail, however, she may start up a new, unexpected romance.

"I think you're going to be excited that there's life after prison for Alison and that she doesn’t have to wear orange.  Once she puts on a different color she may be attracted to somebody in Rosewood who you won't expect -- an unlikely person. And an unlikely person might find her very attractive."

An ‘unlikely person’ is a pretty vague clue.  Anyone hoping for Alison and Noel hookup?  We still don’t know why Noel was helping Ali while she was on the run, but it seems like there is more to that story.

Or do you think the unlikely person could be Lucas?  Lucas has always hated Alison for bullying him.  He is one of the last people you would expect to hook up with Alison, which would make him an unlikely person.

Of course, it could also be a character we haven’t met before.  From behind-the-scenes photos that Sasha Pieterese posted, we know that Alison will meet Lorenzo Calderon, a new Rosewood police officer played by Travis Winfrey.  Maybe we'll see some sparks fly between Alison and Lorenzo?

No spoilers for Mona’s love life, but Mona and Mike are such a good couple.  Mona genuinely seemed to care about Mike and Mike was clearly in love with Mona.  Hope they continue dating when Mike finds out that Mona isn’t dead after all.

Will Emily end up in jail in the season 5 finale of Pretty Little Liars “Welcome to the Dollhouse” 5x25?

PLL showrunner Marlene King posted this 5x25 sneak peek photo of Emily and Hanna in handcuffs and wearing orange jumpsuits.

PLL 5x22 Trailer: Hanna Heads to Jail?

Caleb tells Hanna that the judge just issued a warrant for her arrest in the Pretty Little Liars trailer for “To Plea or Not to Plea”.  Hanna knows that they have too many secrets and lies.  If she tells, everything will unravel and “A” will retaliate.

Caleb points out that “A” has already retaliated over and over again.  It’s time to put a stop to “A”.

Alison gets scared when she thinks someone is in the laundry room with her.

Shay Mitchell Talks PLL Dance With BFF Ashley Benson

Emily and Hanna had some awesome dance moves on Pretty Little Liars “Pretty Isn’t the Point” last night.  Shay Mitchell (Emily on PLL) talked about that dance and working with her BFF Ashley Benson (Hanna on PLL). 

Shay and Ashley, otherwise known as Buttah-Benzo, always have fun working together.  “Ashley is like my little sister and it's so much fun whenever we get to hang out”, Shay said.  “We just had so much fun rehearsing for it.”

In the episode, Emily and Hanna danced to Jessie J., Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj’s song “Bang Bang”.  Shay said the dance was choreographed by Charm.

Shay was full of praise for her co-star Ashley Benson.  "Ashley is spectacular in that episode, she is so funny. She's a great friend of mine, as are the rest of the girls too."

PLL Sneak Peek 5x20: Mike Buys Jewelry

Hanna thinks Mike is buying jewelry for Alison in this sneak peek of Pretty Little Liars “Pretty Isn’t the Point”.

Hanna knows that Mike bought a necklace that said “I’m With You”.  She’s sure he must have bought it for Alison.  Mike’s been to her jail cell more than once, meeting up with Alison’s sketchy friends, leaving candygrams in the woods and withdrew a huge amount of money from “A”’s bank account last week.

Caleb isn’t supportive of Hanna’s plan to compete in a beauty pageant (Miss Teen, countywide).  He doesn’t want Hanna to parade around in a bikini and be judged like a heifer at a 4-H Fair. 

Caleb offers to call his mom in Santa Barbara.  The guy his mom is married to is loaded, so they can ask for a loan.  After Hanna’s dad slammed the door in her face, she doesn’t want to ask anyone else for help.

Caleb warns Hanna that the pageant world is squeaky-clean.  Last week, Hanna was modeling a hazmat suit and pushing around a barrel with a liquefied friend in it.

Hanna is still determined to compete in the pageant.  She doesn’t feel like she has any other choice.

PLL Sneak Peek 5x19: Hanna Needs Money for College

Hanna asks Spencer for advice about paying for college in this sneak peek of Pretty Little Liars “Out, Damned Spot”.

Hanna hasn’t been offered any financial aid for college.  Her mom can’t afford to pay since she no longer has a job.

Spencer looks at Hanna’s Ballard College letter.  Since financial aid is based on income, Hanna wasn’t offered financial aid because her dad can afford to pay the college tuition.

Hanna and her dad have a strained relationship.  Do you think Hanna will ask him to help pay for college?

PLL 5x18 Promo: Johnny Acting Suspicious?

Is Johnny keeping secrets?  In the Canadian promo of PLL episode 5x18 “Oh, What Hard Luck Stories They All Hand Me”, Spencer find out that Johnny has one of the Alison’s missing posters.  Johnny tells Spencer that “this whole town is strung together with whispers”.

Spencer is confident that Alison is going to be tried and convicted of murder.  Aria is worried that Alison’s desperation will grow as the trial date gets closer.  Hanna thinks Alison will get more dangerous.

Holbrook seems to have some anger issues.

Mike says “you can’t take everything apart like you want her to disappear”.

PLL Sneak Peek 5x17: Hanna’s Mom Keeps Jason a Secret

Looks like Hanna’s mom has changed her mind about telling Ted the truth about her night with Jason.

Hanna’s mom told Ted that it isn’t easy to say yes to a marriage proposal after a failed marriage.  However, she decided not to tell him about Jason.  It would just cause Ted pain.  She trusts that both Jason and Hanna will stay quiet about it.

And it looks like Hanna’s ready to open the barrel.  Before her mom comes in, Hanna is busy looking up chemical resistant rubber gloves.

PLL Sneak Peek 5x16: Hanna Confronts Mom About Jason

Looks like Hanna isn’t too thrilled about her mom’s date night with Jason.  In this sneak peek of PLL 5x16 “Over a Barrel”, Pastor Ted is back from Peru.  He was in Peru putting a new roof on a chapel and building a new playground for the sponsor school. 

Hanna doesn’t understand why her mom would get involved with Jason.  She wants to talk about it, but her mom refuses.
