Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale) wore red snake skin leather boots in the Pretty Little Liars series finale episode 7x20 “‘Til Death Do Us Part”. She also wore the same boots in PLL episode 7x17 “Driving Miss Crazy”. The exact boots Aria wore were the Paul Smith Sinah Lux Cocco Boot.

Actress Lucy Hale wore the Paul Smith Sinah Lux Cocco Boots in an Ezria scene from episode 7x14 “Driving Miss Crazy”. Aria put on the red leather boots after she took a dance class with Ezra.

Vanessa Ray’s Pretty Little Liars character, Charlotte (aka Cece), was revealed as “A” in the season 5 finale of PLL. Who is the Uber A that will be revealed at the end of season 7, though? Vanessa Ray thinks Uber A is Aria, which has always been a popular fan theory.

Why Aria & Ezra were Chosen for First PLL Proposal

We got a shocking twist with Ezra proposing to Aria in Pretty Little Liars “Along Comes Mary” and it ended on a cliffhanger. (It was PLL co-executive producer Bryan Holdman’s idea to have the proposal as a cliffhanger). We’ll have to wait until the next episode to find out Aria’s answer. PLL showrunner Marlene King explained how the writers chose Ezria for first PLL proposal. She spilled lots of details about the beautiful proposal scene.

So why was Ezria chosen instead of the other PLL couples like Haleb or Spoby? “We plotted this out when we first started this year, and we just thought because they were the first couple, we thought they should be the first to get engaged” Marlene King told ET.

In fact, this wasn’t the first time the writers considered an Ezria proposal. Ezra almost proposed to Aria in season 5. “I will say there was almost a proposal in season five and we pulled back from that story, but, yes, it was going to be Aria and Ezra.”

Ezra second-guesses his writing in this sneak peek of Pretty Little Liars 6x19 “Did You Miss Me?”

Aria’s boss, Jillian, is making a stop in Rosewood.  Jillian wants to buy Ezra and Aria dinner at The Radley.

Ezra is concerned about his writing.  He isn’t comfortable with the scene where the guy in the book drives off and looks back at the girl. 

Aria thinks it is a lovely scene, but Ezra still doesn’t like it.  Aria tells him to figure out what is bothering him about the scene.

After Ezra leaves the room, Aria stares at a photograph of Nicole on Ezra’s desk.

PLL 6x17 Sneak Peek: Aria & Liam Discuss Ezra

Liam offers Aria advice on dealing with Ezra’s book in this sneak peek of Pretty Little Liars 6x17 “We’ve All Got Baggage”.

Now that Ezra is back in Rosewood with the next few chapters of his book ready to be submitted, Aria needs to tell Ezra that she already submitted her own writing and passed it off as his book chapters.  She’s worried that she’ll get fired.

Aria’s boyfriend Liam is optimistic about the situation.  Maybe their boss will give Aria a book contract.  She loved Aria’s writing.

Liam encourages Aria to tell Ezra everything.  Maybe he’ll be flattered.  This problem can be solved if Ezra calls the publisher and says that he wants to take the book in another direction.  Aria doesn’t see it that way.  Ezra will feel betrayed.

Liam still doesn’t know that Aria and Ezra used to date.  He thinks Ezra is lucky that a former student would care enough to save his reputation.  After all, two weeks ago Ezra was pouring rum on his corn flakes.

PLL 6x13 Sneak Peek: Aria & Ezra Have Lunch

Aria finds out Ezra has a drinking problem in this sneak peek of Pretty Little Liars 6x13 “The Gloves Are On”.

Aria and Ezra have lunch at The Radley hotel to discuss Ezra’s book.  Aria looked at Ezra’s thumb drive in 6x12 “Charlotte’s Web”, but it only contained research on Nicole's death.  Ezra knows Aria won't give up, so he gives her the first chapter of his book.  He was writing it in Colombia, but then Nicole was kidnapped.  He never finished the second chapter. 

Hanna’s mom, Ashley Marin, is now the manager at the hotel.  She tells Ezra that they won’t serve him the beer that he ordered.  After a previous incident involving Ezra, The Radley is cutting him off from any alcohol.

Ezra is clearly going through a hard time.  He yells at the Liars in the promo for 6x13.

PLL Season 6B Fashion (After 5 Year Time Jump)

The Liars have changed a lot during the five year time jump.  They have new relationships, new jobs and new clothes.  How exactly has the fashion changed for season 6B?  PLL Costume Designer Cameron Dale gives us a tour of the updated Pretty Little Liars wardrobe trailer.  Cameron explains how the Liars changed their style based on what they’ve been through during the five year time jump.

Aria Montgomery:
Since Aria was living in Boston, her look has evolved into a Carrie Bradshaw Sex and the City type of look.  Aria’s style is still funky.  She still mixes patterns and has some fun pieces.  However, her clothes now have a bit of the East Coast flair to it.

Hanna Marin:
Hanna moved to New York and works in fashion, so she’s wearing a lot of black.  Hanna also wears tons of leather and crop tops. 

Emily Fields:
Emily spent the last five years in Southern California for the last five years.  Emily is the Liar whose style has changed the least.  However, her look has a bit more of a beach vibe going on.

Spencer Hastings:
Spencer has been in Washington D.C.  For Spencer’s look, they channeled Katharine Hepburn.  Spencer now wears pleated, high-waist trousers.  Spencer is still her preppy self, just a bit more grown up.

PLL 6x11 Sneak Peek: Aria & Dad Talk About Ezra & Liam

Is Aria going to be torn between her new boyfriend Liam and her old boyfriend Ezra in the second half of season 6?  In this sneak peek of PLL 6x11 “Of Late I Think of Rosewood” Aria talks to her dad about Liam and Ezra.

Aria’s new boyfriend, Liam, is making a good impression on Aria’s dad.  Aria hands her dad (Byron Montgomery) a gift from Liam.  Liam wanted him to have the James Tiptree book of short stories.

Aria’s dad is surprised that Aria plans to meet up with the rest of the Liars at The Brew, instead of at the new Radley.  Aria had no idea that Ezra was back in Rosewood.  Apparently, Ezra still owns The Brew and he moved into the apartment above it.

Lucy Hale Talks Ezra & New Love Liam on PLL (6B Spoilers)

The second half of Pretty Little Liars season six will be rough for Ezria fans.  In the November special of PLL “Five Years Forward”, Lucy Hale revealed that her character Aria is in love with Liam.  Lucy has now given even more details about Aria’s love life in season 6B.  Seems like Aria will be torn between her new love Liam and her former love Ezra.

When we start PLL season 6B, it will seem like Aria has moved on.  Aria is “very happy and in love” with her new boyfriend Liam, Lucy Hale told People.

However, that doesn’t mean Aria’s feelings for Ezra are completely gone.  “That's what happens, you break up with the person you love, you go in different directions, and so I don't really know what their contact was in those five years. I want to say they probably didn't talk at all, because there is a scene in an episode back where she realizes he's back in town and you can tell there's still that butterflies-in-her-stomach feeling,” Lucy said.

And even if Aria and Ezra aren’t dating, they will still have a lot of interaction with each other.  However, their relationship has evolved.  “It's sort of a different kind of a relationship.  You've never seen them have a mature friendship like this, and they start working with each other.”

PLL 6x09 Deleted Scene: Aria and Emily Talk About Clark

In this deleted scene of PLL 6x09 “Last Dance”, Emily is sure Clark is working for Charles.  She doesn’t like that Clark is taking pictures of Sara, since Sara doesn’t even go to Rosewood High.  Aria points out that Clark wouldn’t know who is a Rosewood High student, since he doesn’t go there either.

Lucy Hale Spills Season 6B Ezria Spoilers

Lucy Hale, Aria on PLL, gave some spoilers about Pretty Little Liars season 6B in an interview with AOL. 

The second half of PLL season six takes place five years later.  Alison begs the Liars to come back to Rosewood, which is where the remainder of the sixth and the seventh season will take place.  Although the girls have lived an “A”-free life for five years, it looks like “A” is back destroying the Liars.

There is friction between the girls and Alison, but the girls are still best friends.

Don’t expect to see Aria and Ezra back together right away.  After Aria and Ezra say goodbye to each other, they go off and live separate lives.  Ezra develops a relationship with another woman.  Aria is also with someone else. 

There’s still hope for Ezria, though.  When Ezra and Aria see each other again, their chemistry is undeniable.  Lucy is hoping for a big marriage episode on PLL.

PLL Sneak Peek 6x04: Aria Pushes Her Dad Away

Aria doesn’t want to spend time with her dad in this sneak peek of PLL 6x04 “Don’t Look Now”.

Aria’s dad, Byron Montgomery (Chad Lowe), is protective of Aria after her ordeal.  He’s been busy dealing with the Rosewood police.  Lt. Tanner wants to speak to the Liars now that Andrew has been released.  Aria's dad told Lt. Tanner that Aria needs a few more days. 

He knows that Aria isn’t ready to see a professional yet, but he’s there for her when she’s ready to talk.  Aria doesn’t ever want to talk about what happened.  She just wants to move forward and get on with her life.

Looking concerned, Aria’s dad asks if they can do something together.  Maybe catch a movie or play some mini golf.

Aria is quick to say no.  She booked time to use the dark room at Hollis to develop her photos.  (She’s been taking more photographs lately.  It feels good to focus on something other than herself).

Aria’s dad offers to drive her to Hollis.  He doesn’t want her going out alone.  Aria doesn’t want to get a ride from him, though. 

PLL 6x02 Sneak Peek: Aria and Ezra at The Brew

Ezra offers Aria some unwanted advice in this PLL sneak peek of 6x02 "Songs of Innocence".

Now that Aria is free from the dollhouse, she is throwing herself back into photography.  She is at The Brew going through her camera equipment when Ezra stops by.  Aria thanks him for saving her from “A”.  She assures him that she will be okay.

Ezra suggests that Aria check in with herself.  She can write about her experiences and put it down on paper.  Aria immediately rejects that idea.  Ezra clarifies that she should write it in a journal for herself, not for public consumption.

Upset, Aria repeats that she isn’t going to do that.  She doesn’t want to own it, memorialize it, or think about it being in a diary somewhere in her room.  Aria wants a nice, big wall between ‘before’ and ‘after’.

PLL Season 5 Deleted Scene: Andrew and Aria

Andrew acts suspicious in this deleted Pretty Little Liars scene from season 5.  Aria is a little creeped out when Andrew suddenly appears in her bedroom.

Ezra and Aria are Soulmates on PLL

Ezra and Aria are going through a rough patch, but the good news for Ezria fans is that the PLL writers seem to think Ezra and Aria are endgame.

PLL showrunner Marlene King said that Ezra and Aria are soulmates even when they aren’t together.  Marlene has also said that it was necessary for Ezra and Aria to break up while Aria experiences young adult life.

PLL producer Joseph Dougherty acknowledged that Ezria is the relationship that crossed the most lines.

Lucy Hale (Aria on PLL) and Ian Harding (Ezra on PLL) both support the Ezria relationship, particularly now that Ezra is fully aware of the “A” situation.  Lucy Hale thinks her character is now able to open up to Ezra in a way that she was unable to in previous seasons.

Ian Harding also likes how the PLL guys are now more incorporated.  It feels less like secrets and more like they are all battling “A” together.  They knew “A” was dangerous, but they are starting to realize that “A” is also sinister, sadistic and violent.

PLL Makeup Tutorial: Copy Aria’s Gorgeous Eye Makeup

Want to learn how to get Aria’s eye look?  Cindy Miguens, PLL head makeup designer, demonstrates how she creates Aria’s eye look.  She uses a mix of different makeup brands (Tarte, Dior, Sigma, Urban Decay and Anastasia brow) to achieve this particular look.

Cindy Miguens currently uses more lavenders and purples to create Aria’s eye look.  She’s started using colored eyeliners again, like in season one of PLL.  For season 6, the colored eyeliner is a little less drastic.


Cindy starts by applying a shadow primer with her fingers.  She uses a Sigma eye shadow palette to add different colors to the brow bone, lid, crease and under the eye.  (Watch the tutorial video to see the specific colors she used).

Cindy then uses Tarte Skinny SmolderEYES in a lavender/purple color.  She uses Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion on the water line, which can be uncomfortable.  She says looking down while applying it helps.


She follows that up with a lash primer and Tarte mascara.

For Aria's famous brows, she fills them in with Dior's Diorshow brow pencil.  Diorshow is universal, so everyone can use the exact same color.  She’ll then use Anastasia brow gel.

Spencer Hastings’s bedroom has already been torn down on set, so Troian Bellisario had to find another place take a nap during downtime on the PLL set.  Troian posted this photo as she lounged on Aria’s bed.  She captioned it “Sorry @lucyhale yours is the only bedroom left. So I'm napping on arias bed.”
