Hanna is at The Brew on a call with Lucas. The two are talking about Hanna’s business plan. Hanna wishes Lucas was in Rosewood. She needs his help with the financial aspect of her fashion business. She has a degree in fashion, not boring number stuff.
Hanna hangs up when she gets a text from Aria. “Can we meet? I need some advice” Aria texts. Maybe some engagement advice?
Hanna is shocked when another cell phone starts ringing in her purse. She picks up and it sounds like Dr. Elliot Rollins is calling. “Next time you bury someone, make sure they’re dead” a guy with a British accent tells her.
Pretty Little Liars is a secretive show. The show has to guard against major spoilers, so the PLL scripts are top-secret. Each actor’s script has his or her name watermarked across it. So any actor would be in big trouble after losing a script. That nightmare almost came true for PLL actress Shay Mitchell (Emily on the show). She was recently a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Shay talked about the time she left her top-secret PLL script at the grocery store.
Ian Harding, Ezra on PLL, played Freeform’s “What Do You See” OTF/“On The Fly” video. Ian was shown inkblot pictures and he had to describe what he saw.
Ian had some funny answers. He saw two people with dysentery and an evil clown with a bowtie. He also saw something that he didn’t want to say on camera. He phrased it as seeing “the business that powers Chatsworth, California”.
Lucy Hale, Aria on PLL, was asked what she is “obsessed” or “unimpressed” with in this video. Lucy talked about juice cleanses, going commando, boob contouring and black lipstick, among other things.

Keegan Allen, Toby on PLL, spilled some personal details about bad first dates and on-screen kisses during a recent interview. The interview took place on the PLL set and his PLL co-star Ashley Benson snuck up behind him to scare him during the interview. “She’s terrible. That’s awful,” Keegan said before saying how much he loves Ashley Benson.
Keegan was asked about his most awkward date moment. Keegan described a horrible first date. The girl brought her entire family with her. Her parents, siblings, cousins and grandparents all showed up at the restaurant with her to meet Keegan. Keegan thought it was weird and creepy, so he didn’t have a second date with her. That first date was a “run for the hills” moment.
We got a shocking twist with Ezra proposing to Aria in Pretty Little Liars “Along Comes Mary” and it ended on a cliffhanger. (It was PLL co-executive producer Bryan Holdman’s idea to have the proposal as a cliffhanger). We’ll have to wait until the next episode to find out Aria’s answer. PLL showrunner Marlene King explained how the writers chose Ezria for first PLL proposal. She spilled lots of details about the beautiful proposal scene.
So why was Ezria chosen instead of the other PLL couples like Haleb or Spoby? “We plotted this out when we first started this year, and we just thought because they were the first couple, we thought they should be the first to get engaged” Marlene King told ET.
In fact, this wasn’t the first time the writers considered an Ezria proposal. Ezra almost proposed to Aria in season 5. “I will say there was almost a proposal in season five and we pulled back from that story, but, yes, it was going to be Aria and Ezra.”
There’s been a lot of anger directed at Spencer for dating Hanna’s ex-boyfriend Caleb after the five year time jump, but PLL actress Troian Bellisario didn’t think the Spencer slut-shaming would come from her own show’s official Twitter account.
The officialTwitter account for the Pretty Little Liars show tweeted a photo of Spencer and Hanna with the caption “Maybe you shouldn't make out with strangers in elevators, Spencer. 🙊 #PrettyLittleLiars”.(Referring to Spencer making out with Detective Marco Furey in "Hit and Run, Run, Run".)

Aria isn’t sure how to respond to Ezra’s marriage proposal in this promo for Pretty Little Liars episode 7x06 “Wanted: Dead or Alive”.
Hanna’s freaking out over the possibility that Elliot Rollins is still alive. The only way for the Liars to know for sure if Elliot/Archer is dead is to dig up his body.
The Rosewood police seem to be doing a better job than usual now that there’s a new detective in charge. Detective Marco Furey has already realized that Elliot’s real name is Archer Dunhill.
Hanna gets a call from a British man who says “Next time you bury someone, make sure they’re dead”. Do you think Elliot/Archer is alive?
And it seems like Jenna is suspicious of the Liars. “Maybe the cops should ask you where he is” Jenna tells Emily.
Someone is a police uniform attacks Alison. Alison is able to pull off his mask during the struggle.
And is Aria going to accept Ezra’s proposal? Aria is having trouble saying yes because she and her friends might end up in jail for Elliot/Archer’s death. “I can’t promise Ezra forever when my future could be spent behind bars” Aria says.
We will have to wait two weeks to find out what happens next. Pretty Little Liars “Wanted: Dead or Alive” will air on Tuesday, August 2 on Freeform.
Ezra proposes to Aria in Pretty Little Liars episode “Along Comes Mary”, but will she accept his proposal? The Liars continue to dig for more clues about Elliot Rollins and end up at his “burner apartment”. Jenna Marshall, Sara Harvey and Noel Kahn unexpectedly team up. And Alison finally finds out her friends were the ones who accused her of murdering Charlotte.
Aria feels guilty that they all suspected Alison killed Charlotte, so she shows up to welcome her home with a casserole. Aria is shocked to see Alison arrive with Mary Drake. Jason couldn’t make it Rosewood right away, so Mary got Alison released from the hospital.
Unfortunately, Alison is temporarily stuck with Mary. After everything that happened with the imposter Elliot, Welby is afraid that Alison will sue. Welby is doing an internal investigation and Mary has to stay with Alison until a social worker can review her case.
Mary doesn’t seem happy to see Aria. She suggests that Aria leave so Ali can rest. Alison hopes she’ll be able to get some answers from Mary after Aria leaves.
Alison immediately starts questioning her aunt. Mary Drake claims that she’s innocent. She says Elliot contacted her in London and told her Charlotte was alive. It nearly shattered her when she found out Charlotte was murdered.

It’s always a possibility that Hanna is “A”. Ashley Benson is always telling the producers that.
Caleb and Hanna have child together. Ashley Benson thinks it would be fun if Hanna was pregnant because she could eat whatever she wants, even though she already does.
Emily and Hanna get together at some point.
Ashley Benson also shared her own favorite theory. She wants Emily to be straight so that she can make out with a guy, since Shay really wants to do that.

Sasha Pieterse has been getting a lot of judgment regarding her weight. Sasha has had to develop a thick skin to protect her heart and soul from all the negativity and criticism.
Sasha explained that she always struggled with her weight and focused on her health in her early teens. However, she faced major social media backlash when her body changed.
“People were actually angry that I had gained weight, I was being (and still am) called names, made fun of, the (unfortunate) usual but it wasn’t until people starting asking and assuming I was pregnant that I decided to say something” Sasha wrote. At that point, Sasha decided to post her first message about her hormone imbalance.

Mary Drake brings Alison home from the hospital in this sneak peek of Pretty Little Liars episode 7x05 “Along Comes Mary”.
Aria feels horrible that they all suspected Alison killed Charlotte. Aria heads over to Ali’s house with a casserole to welcome her back home from the hospital.
When Ali gets home, Aria tells her that they tried to get her out of the hospital. Ali was able to find another way out, though. Jason couldn’t make it, so Mary Drake got Alison released from the hospital.
Mary takes charge immediately, taking the casserole and suggesting that Aria leave so Ali can rest. Ali wants Aria to stay, though.
Mary Drake isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. After everything that happened with the fake Dr. Elliot Rollins, Welby is afraid Alison will sue. Welby is doing an internal investigation. Mary has to stay with Alison until a social worker can review her case.
Could one of the Liars be Uber “A”? A popular fan theory is that Aria is “A”. PLL showrunner Marlene King is keeping that possibility open. Season 7 is all about finding out who the new Uber “A” is. Marlene King says this new A.D. was born after Charlotte’s death. Could it be one of the Liars?
Marlene King was asked if one of the Liars is “A”. “It’s always a possibility, it's always a possibility. I mean, it seems unlikely but you just never know,” she told ET.
PLL executive producer Charlie Craig also entertained the idea of one of the main girls being the evil mastermind. “I will say that question is one we’ve discussed in the writers’ room. All of the little Liars could be ‘A’. Think of that five year gap, right? What could have happened in that five year gap. That past will help inform what they are doing now."

The new Rosewood detective, who we last saw making out with Spencer at The Radley, tells Alison “He was last seen in Baltimore”. Is Marco talking about Elliot? Alison looks shocked.
The Liars race to cover up Elliot’s death in Pretty Little Liars episode 7x04 “Hit and Run, Run, Run”. The weight of what they’ve done, plus her failing relationship with Caleb, makes Spencer fall apart. Mona, an expert at stealth and secrets, knows exactly what the Liars need to do. And Jenna Marshall makes a surprise return to Rosewood. She’s got plenty of secrets. She’s been in contact with Elliot Rollins and even knows his real name.
The Liars panic after accidentally killing Elliot. Spencer, Aria and Emily frantically dig a grave to bury the body. Emily cries, unsure if she can go through with it. Spencer says they don’t have a choice. It was a well-thought-out plan. When it ends like this, it is first-degree murder. Meanwhile, Alison and Hanna are in shock. The Liars are all freaking out and dealing with Elliot’s death in different ways. Spencer frantically scrubs the floor, Emily nervously paces around and tracks even more mud on the floor, and Hanna takes a shower to wash away all the blood.

Sara Harvey was a huge part of PLL season 6, but we haven’t seen her in season 7 yet. She’s still around though. In fact, she’ll play a big role soon. PLL showrunner Marlene King told zap2it “We love Dre Davis. She's a doll. She's having a lot of fun this season. She meets an unlikely new friend, I'll say, and the two of them together are just delicious to watch.”
When asked if that new friend is Jenna, Marlene replied “Ooh, you might be right. They certainly have a lot in common when it comes to the Liars.”

Jenna’s finally back in Rosewood, but the Liars definitely aren’t happy to see her return. One Liar in particular is upset with Jenna, but with good reason. Jenna does some bad things when she comes back to Rosewood.
Tammin Sursok, who plays Jenna Marshall on the show, says the Liars are going to be completely shocked by Jenna’s return. “They're not excited. I do some terrible things. You’re going to not like me and then I cry and then you might like me again 'cause you’ll pity me,” Tammin told ET.
The promo for Pretty Little Liars episode 7x04 “Hit and Run, Run, Run” is all about the Liars getting rid of all evidence that they killed Elliot Rollins.
The Liars need to cover their tracks. Luckily, they’ve had a lot of practice.
The Liars dig a grave in the wood to hide Elliot’s body. The Liars think they’ve covered everything, but Hanna is sure they are missing something. Hanna says someone knows what they did.

In a shocking twist, the Liars accidentally kill Elliot Rollins in Pretty Little Liars episode 7x03 “The Talented Dr. Rollins”. The Liars have saved Alison, but now Elliot Rollins death means the Liars may never get the answers they need. Meanwhile, the Liars work through their relationship issues. Spencer realizes that Caleb doesn’t love her. Hanna claims she’s happy with Jordan, despite calling off their engagement last week. Aria admits that she misses Ezra, but he’s out of town this week. And there’s a surprise engagement, but is that a good thing?
The episode starts with Hanna putting on a fake engagement ring. Seems like Hanna isn’t ready to tell her friends and family that the engagement to Jordan is off. Hanna slips the ring on just as Aria walks up to her. Aria isn’t focused on the ring, though. Aria is shocked to see burn marks on Hanna’s back (from when A.D. tortured her with a cattle prod). Aria is concerned, but Hanna doesn’t want to talk about it.
Watch for a cameo of Pretty Little Liars author Sara Shepard’s new book, The Amateurs on tonight’s episode of PLL (episode 7x03 “The Talented Mr. Rollins”). We will see copies of The Amateurs at the Brew in a scene between Emily and Sabrina.
The Amateurs is the first book in Sara Shepard’s new series. Disney Publishing Worldwide will launch their Freeform imprint with the release of the first book.

Shay shared a funny story with Self about the shower scene in the music video. “It was great, we had such a fun time. But I had done stunts on PLL the night before so my legs were black and blue. My makeup artist that day was amazing at covering it up, but that shower scene was hard because my lashes were coming off, they’re trying to cover up my bruises, and I’m trying to make out while looking sexy. It looks great, but shooting it is a whole different story.”

Dr. Freedman wasn’t aware that Dr. Rollins was treating Alison, but he assures the Liars that Alison is in excellent hands. He’s not concerned when the Liars tell him that Alison is deteriorating mentally and physically every day. Sometimes patients get worse before they get better. Medications need to be adjusted before they get it right.
Aria tells Dr. Freedman that Dr. Rollins is abusing Alison. Aria demands that Freedman check on Alison immediately. Otherwise, she’ll file complaints against both Dr. Rollins and Freedman. Dr. Freedman will be liable if he knew about the situation and neglected to do anything about it.
