Cameo of Sara Shepard’s New Book “The Amateurs” on PLL 7x03

Watch for a cameo of Pretty Little Liars author Sara Shepard’s new book, The Amateurs on tonight’s episode of PLL (episode 7x03 “The Talented Mr. Rollins”). We will see copies of The Amateurs at the Brew in a scene between Emily and Sabrina.

The Amateurs is the first book in Sara Shepard’s new series. Disney Publishing Worldwide will launch their Freeform imprint with the release of the first book.

Here’s what The Amateurs is about, according to The Hollywood Reporter:

“Eighteen-year-old Seneca Frazier is obsessed with solving the five-year-old disappearance of high school senior Helena Kelly from her backyard in their hometown of Dexby, Connecticut. Joined by her friends Maddy, Brett and Helena’s sister Aerin (who all meet on a cold case message board), she tries to figure out what happened to Helena and who caused her disappearance, all while trying to hide her own dark secrets.”

The Amateurs is a murder mystery series “packed with the twists and turns, steamy romance, and stunning revelations”.

The Amateurs YA series sounds amazing, but you can’t grab it just yet. The Amateurs will go on sale November 1, 2016. Can’t wait to read it!
