Maddie Ziegler Dancing on PLL 6x05

Maddie Ziegler, star of Dance Moms, is guest starring on PLL.  There are some creepy behind-the-scenes photos showing Maddie in a dirty nightgown.  Here are some more details about her role.

Maddie will be dancing on Pretty Little Liars episode 6x05 “She’s No Angel”.  "It's different than what most people would think I'd be doing on the show as a little girl.  Obviously the show's creepy though so it fits in," Maddie told Seventeen Magazine. 

The only Liar in Maddie’s scene was Troian Bellisario.  "The scene was just with Troian. She's really amazing!  She helped me get into character." 

Don’t you think Maddie looks like a young Spencer Hastings in this photo?  Do you think Maddie is playing a young Spencer in Spencer’s subconscious?

PLL Season 5 Recap Video and PLL Marathon

Need to get caught up on PLL season 5 before the season 6 premiere on Tuesday night?  Here’s a short recap video of the highlights of season 5.

Season 5 of Pretty Little Liars was intense.  Alison getting set up for Mona’s murder, Ezra and Aria’s breakup, the Liars getting arrested, “A”/Charles kidnapping the Liars and locking them in his dollhouse with Mona.

If you want to rewatch some PLL episodes and you don’t have a lot of time before the season 6 premiere, focus on watching these five PLL episodes for clues about “A”/Charles.

ABC Family will have a Pretty Little Liars marathon before the season 6 premiere, starting with “Oh, What Hard Luck Stories They All Hand Me” 5x18 at noon on Tuesday June 2 and ending with “Welcome to the Dollhouse” 5x25.  The season 6 premiere of “Game On, Charles” 6x01 will air at 8PM following the PLL marathon.

Ezra and Aria are Soulmates on PLL

Ezra and Aria are going through a rough patch, but the good news for Ezria fans is that the PLL writers seem to think Ezra and Aria are endgame.

PLL showrunner Marlene King said that Ezra and Aria are soulmates even when they aren’t together.  Marlene has also said that it was necessary for Ezra and Aria to break up while Aria experiences young adult life.

PLL producer Joseph Dougherty acknowledged that Ezria is the relationship that crossed the most lines.

Lucy Hale (Aria on PLL) and Ian Harding (Ezra on PLL) both support the Ezria relationship, particularly now that Ezra is fully aware of the “A” situation.  Lucy Hale thinks her character is now able to open up to Ezra in a way that she was unable to in previous seasons.

Ian Harding also likes how the PLL guys are now more incorporated.  It feels less like secrets and more like they are all battling “A” together.  They knew “A” was dangerous, but they are starting to realize that “A” is also sinister, sadistic and violent.

PLL Spoilers: Alison Has No Idea Who Charles Is

Charles may be a DiLaurentis, but that doesn’t mean Alison DiLaurentis knows who he is.

"I can tell you that Charles is somehow related to the DiLaurentis family,"  Sasha Pieterse told buddyTV.  So Charles is part of the family, but that doesn’t mean Alison knows who is tormenting them.  "She has no idea who this person is.  It's completely a shock to her."

So how come Alison has no information about this mysterious relative?  Alison will realizes that she can’t even trust her own family.  "It just goes so much deeper and so much darker and it's really hard for her to trust anyone.  She can't even trust her own family completely".  Sasha describes the DiLaurentis family as "so twisted."

We will probably see a lot more of the DiLaurentis family in season 6 of PLL.  Sasha has posted behind-the-scenes photos of the whole DiLaurentis clan at a table read.  Jessica DiLaurentis will be returning to the show.  We will also see more of Alison’s older brother Jason.  And of course, Alison’s dad will also be there.

Sasha promises that we will learn "how Charles works and how this has all come about and the history of Charles and the reason he is so obsessed."  Of course, his obsession is not going to stop until he adds Alison to his doll collection.  “His ultimate dollhouse does include Alison," Sasha said.

PLL Makeup Artist Reveals Set Beauty Secrets

Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario and Shay Mitchell are absolutely stunning, but a lot of work takes place behind-the-scenes to get these gorgeous girls camera ready for Pretty Little Liars.  Want to copy their beauty secrets and look like a pretty little liar yourself?  Head PLL makeup designer Cindy Miguen spills the secrets to getting girls ready for their close ups to ETonline.

Fake lashes are the secret to getting gorgeous Pretty Little Liars eyes.  "Every single girl wears lashes -- even in the morning looks!  Sometimes we're having a no-makeup morning and so we'll give them brown lashes with maybe a little bit of mascara", PLL makeup artist Cindy Miguen said.  Shay Mitchell particularly loves using fake lashes to get a gorgeous, full lash look.


The Liars have gorgeous, defined cheekbones and a fan brush is the perfect tool for contouring.  "Every pretty little liar has a fan-brush in their makeup case", Cindy Miguens explained. "This is how we get the famous contour look that the girls are now wearing every day."  What makeup brush brand do they use on the PLL set?  Cindy recommends using Sigma brushes.  She says "They're dense and your color goes on the way it looks in the palette. Right now they're my favorite."


Perhaps the most important tip Cindy Miguens gave is how to get clear skin.  How do the PLL girls get such flawless skin?  They use all-over face masks.  "I've been fortunate to discover the masquerade mask that you've probably seen Shay and Ashley[Benson] wear a lot. These are wonderful as well as they give you moisture in the morning.  So if the girls are getting their hair done in the morning, they'll wear the mask or the eye patches and then they're ready for me and all prepped for their makeup."

Cindy Miguens also talked about the evolving makeup looks on PLL.  The makeup look changes based on the plotlines on the show.  For season 6A, she adjusted the makeup routine to make the girls look like they have been trapped in Charles’s dollhouse.  Of course, the Liars wouldn’t have a chance to apply flawless makeup while getting tortured by Charles.

"I love making people look like what they're supposed to look like and these girls had a horrible time –They were kidnapped for three weeks!  [To achieve the look] we used purples and we used reds. It's kind of like how you look like after a night of partying, and you didn’t wash your makeup. We all know what that look looks like, so basically that was my motivation."

The time jump that occurs between PLL season 6A and 6B will also change the makeup style of the Liars.  Their look will change now that they are no longer high school girls.  "There is definitely going to be a difference in their whole entire look. More done-up, more polished. It's going to be probably Sex and the City meets Pretty Little Liars so you guys are going to be in for a big surprise."  Sex and the City meets Pretty Little Liars?  Can’t wait!

It’s always interesting to see how different the Liars look from season to season.  Are you excited to see how different they will look post-college?

PLL Spoilers: Mona and Alison Become Friends?

Once the girls escape the dollhouse, will Mona and Alison stop being enemies and become friends?  Sasha Pieterse, Alison on PLL, hints that they will. 

Mona and Alison would need to overcome a lot of history and hurt feelings to become friends.  Mona would have to forgive Alison for bullying her and Alison would have to forgive Mona for becoming “A” and terrorizing her and the Liars.  And when Alison finally returned to Rosewood, Mona created an army to protect herself from Alison.  She was convinced Alison hadn’t really changed.  However, it looks like they just might put aside past grudges in season 6 of Pretty Little Liars.

"They're nervous of each other, probably Mona more than Alison, but I think they're kind of starting a friendship in a very strange way. As much as they're different, they're very similar," Sasha told buddyTV.  "I think they're now learning how to be around each other without protecting themselves because now everything's out there."

PLL Makeup Tutorial: Copy Aria’s Gorgeous Eye Makeup

Want to learn how to get Aria’s eye look?  Cindy Miguens, PLL head makeup designer, demonstrates how she creates Aria’s eye look.  She uses a mix of different makeup brands (Tarte, Dior, Sigma, Urban Decay and Anastasia brow) to achieve this particular look.

Cindy Miguens currently uses more lavenders and purples to create Aria’s eye look.  She’s started using colored eyeliners again, like in season one of PLL.  For season 6, the colored eyeliner is a little less drastic.


Cindy starts by applying a shadow primer with her fingers.  She uses a Sigma eye shadow palette to add different colors to the brow bone, lid, crease and under the eye.  (Watch the tutorial video to see the specific colors she used).

Cindy then uses Tarte Skinny SmolderEYES in a lavender/purple color.  She uses Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion on the water line, which can be uncomfortable.  She says looking down while applying it helps.


She follows that up with a lash primer and Tarte mascara.

For Aria's famous brows, she fills them in with Dior's Diorshow brow pencil.  Diorshow is universal, so everyone can use the exact same color.  She’ll then use Anastasia brow gel.

PLL Spoilers: Alison's New Love

Sasha Pieterse, Alison DiLaurentis on PLL, spilled some details about a new love interest for her character in season 6.  (There are also some PLL season 6 romance spoilers for Aria, Hanna, Spencer and Emily).

Alison is finally going to be in a healthy relationship in season 6 of PLL.  "It's really healthy for Alison to be with someone who doesn't know about her. Emison [Emily and Alison] will always live on in spirit, but I think it's important too for fans to know that your childhood crush doesn't always pan out; that's not always the reality. People have to move on and this is very refreshing [for] Alison and it's honest and genuine and it isn't something she expected to deal with, especially after everything going on in her life right now", Sasha Pieterse told TVGuide.com.

Perhaps her new love interest is Rosewood police office Lorenzo Calderon, played by Travis Winfrey?  Sasha says that this new relationship doesn’t have history, unlike Alison’s relationships with the Liars.  Also, Sasha Pieterse posted a behind-the-scenes photo of herself with Travis Winfrey, so we know they have some scenes together.

No good news to report for Emison fans.  Sasha says that on Pretty Little Liars, Emily and Alison’s relationship is a high school relationship.  "‘Not everything stays connected, not everything always comes together.’  It is a high school relationship. Some fans will like what's coming for them while others will not, but whatever happens, ‘their feelings are genuine,’" Sasha told buddyTV.

However, Sasha does think Alison and Emily will always have a strong friendship bond.  "The definite truth there is that they have such a strong friendship and as much as Alison has gone astray and done so many crazy things and lost their trust, lost her trust and gained her trust back again, there will always be that connection there. I don't think that will ever disappear."

PLL 6x01 Sneak Peek: Charles/"A" Starves the Liars

In this sneak peek for PLL 6x01 “Game On, Charles”, the torture begins for the Liars.  The girls are stuck outside the compound, but still locked behind the electric fence.  They huddle together, shivering outside in the pouring rain.

Hanna wonders how long can a person live without food.  Spencer and Mona both say three weeks.  Spencer points out that water is a different story.  Some people can only go a few days without it.  Mona says that they will know they are dying when they aren’t hungry or thirsty anymore.  It will mean their organs are shutting down. 

Aria knows that her organs are working.  She’s so thirsty; she’d consider drinking her own pee.  Hanna agrees.  She could suck on a pee ice cube.  Emily would lick sweat off a jock strap.  Emily wins.

Poor Liars.  Wonder how long Charles/“A” left them suffering out there.

PLL 6x01 Sneak Peek: Andrew Campbell is Suspect in Kidnapping

Is Andrew Campbell "A" on Pretty Little Liars?  The Rosewood police seem to think so.  In this sneak peek of PLL 6x01, we learn that Andrew Campbell is the prime suspect in the kidnapping of Aria, Hanna, Spencer, Emily and Mona.  In the sneak peek, we also see Alison DiLaurentis’s press conference.

The media reports that Andrew Campbell’s whereabouts are currently unknown.  The police suspect that Andrew (star athlete and honor roll student) is the one who abducted the Liars and trapped them in the dollhouse.

It has been one month since Charles/”A” kidnapped the Liars.  Alison DiLaurentis is cleared of murder charges and now out of jail.  Addressing the media for the first time since the kidnapping, Alison makes a statement at a press conference outside her house.  Ezra and Caleb, looking unhappy, are in the crowd listening.

Alison tells the reporters that Mona is alive and is in grave danger, along with her friends.  Her friends were taken by the same monster who attacked Mona and framed them for her murder.  Alison is grateful to be home with her family, but she would do anything to see her friends again.  Her friends have always been her rock.  Without them, she is lost in the woods and totally alone.

Do you believe the Rosewood police should be considering Andrew Campbell the prime suspect in the kidnapping?  Or do you think the Rosewood police, once again, are chasing the wrong person?

CeCe Drake Back for PLL Season 6?

Vanessa Ray, CeCe Drake on PLL, mentioned that she might be working on Pretty Little Liars season 6.
 
In an interview with AfterBuzz TV, Vanessa Ray said that she might be coming back to PLL.  She doesn’t have any spoilers about the show, though.  She doesn’t get her script until she shows up for the table reads, so she never knows what’s going on with her character CeCe.

Vanessa Ray isn’t really bothered by the getting the PLL scripts at the last minute.  When she did a season of the show Damages, she also didn’t get to study her script ahead of time.

Do you think the Liars can trust CeCe Drake?  CeCe was one of the few people Alison trusted while she was on the run.  There’s a lot we still don’t know about her, though.  And the Rosewood police suspect that she murdered Darren Wilden.  Do you think she’s working with “A”?

Lucy Hale Talks PLL Season 6 on 'Access Hollywood'

Lucy Hale, Aria on PLL, chatted with Access Hollywood about the future of PLL. 

Lucy Hale has no idea what is in store for Ezra and Aria.  She’s excited to see what the Liars will be doing after the four year time jump.  She wonders who will be married or if any of the Liars have kids.  And of course, is “A” still tormenting the Liars?

Lucy Hale is happy to stay on Pretty Little Liars since there is an end point in sight (season 7).  Lucy is going to ride PLL until it’s done.  However, she has also thought about her future after PLL ends.  She wants to work on films and her music when she’s done playing Aria Montgomery.

It’s hard to imagine a time on PLL when the Liars aren’t being tortured by “A”.  And what do you think about the possibility Liars having kids?  PLL seems to be moving pretty fast.  Are you ready to see the Liars with kids of their own?

Spencer Hastings’s bedroom has already been torn down on set, so Troian Bellisario had to find another place take a nap during downtime on the PLL set.  Troian posted this photo as she lounged on Aria’s bed.  She captioned it “Sorry @lucyhale yours is the only bedroom left. So I'm napping on arias bed.”

Ashley Benson Badass in 'Pixels' Trailer

Ashley Benson, Hanna on PLL, is playing a completely different character in the upcoming sci-fi comedy Pixels.

In the newly released trailer for Pixels, you can see Ashley Benson kicking Josh Gad’s character (starts at 1:37 on the video).  Ashley Benson plays Lady Lisa, sent to attack Earth when aliens misinterpret arcade games as an declaration of war.

“A” Plans to Complete Doll Collection with Alison

Marlene King, PLL showrunner, has given us this teaser for season 6.  “A”/Charles has a mission to complete his doll collection with the real Alison DiLaurentis.

Guess Mona in a blonde wig wasn’t close enough to the real Alison.  Alison better watch her back!

PLL Spoilers: Dollhouse Torture Similar to ‘Saw’

Do you like horror movies like Saw?  If you do, then you’ll love season 6 of PLL.  Pretty Little Liars is going to take a very dark turn. 

“Basically what we're dealing with is a very, very angry Charles and the season starts right where we left off: So we are still trapped in that horrible, horrible dollhouse. We will get out at some point, but when we do we will have some serious emotional scars. All of us will have different things that we're dealing with. You'll find out what they are as the season goes on, but yeah it's going to be a darker season, and some darker girls are emerging from this dollhouse”, Janel Parrish (Mona on PLL) told ETonline.

In the PLL 6x01 promo we saw a traumatized Mona singing to herself, rocking back and forth all alone.  It looked like she was suffering from Charles’s punishment.  Janel said each of the girls will have a different type of torturous punishment for their escape attempt.

“Well it looks like she's in some dirty hole freaking out. How long has she been there though is the thing, and what's she going to be like when she gets out? Every girl gets a different type of torture that, again, you'll find out more about as the season goes on, but it's dark -- it's really dark. It kind of reminds me a little bit of Saw. The puppet-master plays these games with them, and if they do something wrong -- they're punished. That's what happens this season. It's pretty crazy, but I think the fans are going to like it. It's kind of a different feel to the show.”

PLL Romance Spoilers for Season 6

It’s time for a PLL romance checkup for season 6.  Things look pretty bleak for the Liars, since they will be traumatized from their time spent trapped in the dollhouse.  What’s in store for them romantically when they finally escape the dollhouse?  Pretty Little Liars executive producer Oliver Goldstick spilled some juicy spoilers to ET Online for Hanna, Aria, Spencer, Emily and Alison’s love lives.

Hanna and Caleb have always had a relatively stable relationship.  They have always had each other’s backs and have been supportive.  However, they may start to have some issues in season 6.  After escaping from the dollhouse, Hanna may start pushing Caleb away.

"Because of her trauma, she might not be able to appreciate how great Caleb is right away in [season] six”, Oliver Goldstick said.  Caleb, however, will continue to be the sweet boyfriend that we love.  "I think he's always been there to support her with every decision she makes, and I think he remains the perfect boyfriend in so many ways."  So it looks like there is still hope for Haleb fans.

Aria and Ezra have had ups and downs for the past few years and at the end of season 5 they were no longer together.  They managed to make it through the bombshell reveal that Ezra was keeping secrets and writing a book about Alison.  However, things started to fall apart when Ezra realized that Aria regretted missing out on the typical high school experience because of her secret relationship with him,.  Ezra thought Aria spending time away from him was the only way to have a healthy relationship in the future, but that pushed her closer to Andrew Campbell.

Andrew seemed pretty sweet and he clearly wanted to be the guy Aria turned to.  He acted a little suspicious the night Aria’s brother got beat up, though.  We also saw him eavesdropping on a phone conversation between Spencer's mom and Melissa.  And we can’t forget that “A”’s lair was at the old Campbell farm.  Which guy is in Aria’s future?

Oliver Goldstick gives some hope to all the Ezria shippers.  Looks like it isn’t going to be easy for Aria to stay away from Ezra.  “Part of her knows that she and Ezra need to go their separate ways, but something happens in the beginning of [season] six A that brings them very close together again.  This will be a challenge and they're both going to have to deal with it. It's a mixed message from the universe."

Don’t expect Ezra and Aria to get together right away, though.  PLL showrunner Marlene King said Aria and Ezra's breakup was necessary.

Spencer and Toby started having issues when Toby became a Rosewood police officer.  Spencer ended up kissing two guys, Johnny and British hottie Colin, when Toby kept pushing her away.  Spencer and Toby didn't break up, though.  They  kissed before "A" kidnapped Spencer.  However, in season 6 Spencer is going to be a bit preoccupied with investigating “A”.  That’s going to put her romantic life on the back burner for a while.

"Spencer will be challenged as well, but the great news is she's got an inside track at the Rosewood PD.  So Spencer -- who has always led a lot of this mystery train -- holds the key because she was obviously the first one to see [Charles'] movie.  I would just say that her romance may get a little addled by the mystery of it all, but that doesn’t mean her romance goes away completely".  So it doesn’t seem like we will see that much of Spoby in season 6.

Emily hasn’t had much luck in the romance department.  Her first girlfriend, Maya, is thought to be dead.  And her on-again/off-again girlfriend Paige moved to California.  Her romance with The Brew’s chef Talia was short-lived and seemed doomed to fail since she was married.  It looks like Emily has already met her soul mate, though.

"She might just realize that she's now got a soul mate closer to her than she ever thought.  And the dollhouse will have been a big factor in a shift of what Emily wants in a partner. Who and what she wants", Oliver said.

What does this mean for Paily and Emison fans?  We know Paige will be making an appearance in season 6.  Do you think Emily realizes Paige is her soul mate?  And is Maya really dead?  There have been hints that “A” may have tried to kill Maya.

Alison’s stint in jail meant that she didn’t have much of a romance life.  She was a bit busy fighting for her life.  Now that she’s out of jail, however, she may start up a new, unexpected romance.

"I think you're going to be excited that there's life after prison for Alison and that she doesn’t have to wear orange.  Once she puts on a different color she may be attracted to somebody in Rosewood who you won't expect -- an unlikely person. And an unlikely person might find her very attractive."

An ‘unlikely person’ is a pretty vague clue.  Anyone hoping for Alison and Noel hookup?  We still don’t know why Noel was helping Ali while she was on the run, but it seems like there is more to that story.

Or do you think the unlikely person could be Lucas?  Lucas has always hated Alison for bullying him.  He is one of the last people you would expect to hook up with Alison, which would make him an unlikely person.

Of course, it could also be a character we haven’t met before.  From behind-the-scenes photos that Sasha Pieterese posted, we know that Alison will meet Lorenzo Calderon, a new Rosewood police officer played by Travis Winfrey.  Maybe we'll see some sparks fly between Alison and Lorenzo?

No spoilers for Mona’s love life, but Mona and Mike are such a good couple.  Mona genuinely seemed to care about Mike and Mike was clearly in love with Mona.  Hope they continue dating when Mike finds out that Mona isn’t dead after all.

Here’s a new dubbed video of Keegan Allen (Toby on PLL), Troian Bellisario (Spencer on PLL) and Drew Van Acker (Jason on PLL).  Troian wrote “@keeoone and drew talk. I interject.”  Keegan wrote of the video “Telling drew about this girl I like and @sleepinthegardn so badly wants to be involved- but you probably gave all your likes to Troian already so just keep scrolling”.

Behind the Scenes of Lucy Hale’s Buenos Aires Photo Shoot

Celebrity Makeup Artist Kelsey Deenihan, who is good friends with Lucy, has been doing Lucy’s makeup for two years.  This was Kelsey’s first mark. photo shoot. 

Lucy Hale and Kelsey Deenihan talked about the new mark. Instant Vacation Buenos Aires collection.  Lucy loves bronzer and blush duos, so she recommends getting the Caliente Glow Blush + Bronzer for a “fake vacation glow”.

Lucy is also a fan of the Instant Vacation Buenos Aires Caliente Eyes Eye Shadow Palette.  Lucy loves purple eye shadow because it brings the green out in her hazel eyes.

Lucy is usually terrified of blue, but she embraced blue for her photo shoot.  One of her favorite looks from the photo shoot was a look they did with gold liner and a bright orange lip.

Aria is Courageous in PLL Season 6

Lucy Hale is excited that her character Aria will finally get a chance to do something courageous in PLL season 6A.  Spencer, Emily and Hanna have all had chances to be brave, but now it’s finally Aria’s turn.

PLL fans have noticed that Aria is often MIA when things go down with “A”.  Spencer, Emily and Hanna have all had chances to fight when “A” attacks, but Aria is often not with them.  That’s all going to change now that the Liars are all trapped in the dollhouse together.  Aria will finally join the other Liars as they fight against Charles/“A”.

Lucy Hale told Seventeen magazine about Aria’s involvement in an upcoming big reveal.  “It's actually a joke with the fans and Aria, because Aria's usually not involved in the forefront with A — she's sort of just missing in action. But Aria finally gets to do something courageous, which was really fun. We were up all night shooting it, but it's a pretty big reveal — it's one of those bombshells.”

Lucy doesn’t know how the Liars will escape the dollhouse, but she hopes Spencer’s boyfriend Toby Cavanaugh will save the day.  “I want Toby... I want Keegan to be shirtless and rescue all of the Liars — carry us away into the sunset”, Lucy said.  (Tyler Blackburn, Caleb on PLL, is probably happy to let Keegan Allen and his 12-pack handle any shirtless scenes.  Tyler was uncomfortable when he had to be in the shirtless Santa boxers scene in the Christmas episode “How the ‘A’ Stole Christmas”).

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Aria get the chance to fight against “A”.  In her defense, she’s been pretty preoccupied with Ezra and worrying that “A” might hurt her brother Mike.  Are you excited to see Aria take a more proactive role in the fight against “A” on Pretty Little Liars?

Lucy Hale Jokes About ‘Golden Girls’ PLL on 'Big Morning Buzz Live'

Would you want to watch PLL years from now when the cast is old?  Lucy Hale joked about PLL becoming a Golden Girls type of show with Nick Lachey on Big Morning Buzz Live.

Lucy Hale thinks the prime of Aria’s life would be when Aria is an old woman.  She’d like to see a Golden Girls/PLL situation.  Lucy wants to be the Betty White on a show like that.

All joking aside, Lucy is excited for the four year time jump that will occur after the first half of season 6.  She’s been playing a sixteen year old high schooler on PLL, though in real life she is 26.  She’s looking forward to playing a character closer to her own age.  (Lucy has previously talked about what she wants to see for an older Aria).

Pretty Little Liars episodes always seem to leave us with more questions than answers.  Lucy Hale is just as confused as the PLL fans.  Lucy has given up trying to figure out who “A” is and what is happening in the show.  (Lucy Hale still doesn't know who "A" is).  She used to come up with theories that always ended up being wrong.  She hates being wrong, so she just stopped guessing.

The idea of the Liars still being terrorized by “A” when they are in their golden years is hilarious.  Years from now, would you want to watch a Pretty Little Liars/Golden Girls type of show?

PLL Cast in ABC Family’s 'Become With Us' Outtakes

Here are the ABC Family’s 'Become With Us' outtakes that feature the PLL cast.

There are some funny outtakes in this video.  Keegan Allen, Toby on PLL, is taken off guard by a question that leaves him sweating.  He doesn’t know how he deals with the unknown.  Lucy Hale and Troian Bellisario are also in this video.

When asked about the future, Troian said the future is unwritten.  Keegan said the future is now.

Lucy Hale thinks the best thing about being young is not having it all planned.  Keegan Allen says when you are young, anything is possible.  Troian says that being young is going to be awkward and uncomfortable.

Who does Troian want to become?  She wants to become someone who is really nice to pets.

Spencer Hastings’ Bedroom Demolished on PLL Set

Say goodbye to Spencer Hastings’ bedroom and her gorgeous floral wallpaper.  There seems to be no need for Spencer Hastings’ bedroom now that the Liars are trapped in Charles/“A”’s dollhouse. 

Troian Bellisario, Spencer on PLL, was shocked to find out Spencer’s room was being demolished.  She had no idea that she already filmed her last scene in Spencer’s bedroom.

Troian took this photo of the bedroom demolition on set and captioned it “Wow. Nobody told me we were shooting the last scene we would ever shoot in my bedroom. I ran back and it was already half gone. I've loved this room. Slept in this room. Cried and laughed. Goodbye and thanks for the 6 years of insanity.”

PLL showrunner Marlene King responded with “We have to say goodbye to say hello.”

Guess they won’t need Spencer’s bedroom anymore, since the Liars will be finished with college by the time Pretty Little Liars season 6B starts.  Maybe Toby and Spencer will be living together by then?

Hope they don’t have to tear down Aria’s, Hanna’s and Emily’s bedrooms.  It would be nice to see the Liars occasionally back in their old rooms.

Fan Thought Lucy Hale was Selena Gomez

Do you think PLL actress Lucy Hale looks like Selena Gomez?  In a chat with New York Daily News, Lucy described the time a fan confused her for Selena Gomez.  (Lucy isn’t the only PLL star to be mistaken for another celebrity.  Ian Harding, Ezra on PLL, had a fan mistake him for actor James Marsden).

Lucy Hale’s fans often give her presents when they meet her.  She often receives unicorn gifts (she loves unicorns) and her favorite candy. However, one time during a radio tour a fan gave Lucy a beautiful drawing, but it was actually a drawing of Selena Gomez.  Lucy was confused, but she went with it and graciously thanked the fan.


Lucy also talked about Pretty Little Liars.  She would describe season 6 of PLL as gratifying, mysterious and frustrating.  Her favorite PLL episode ever to film was the season five finale “Welcome to the Dollhouse”.  It was almost like a movie in terms of the set and the way the episode was directed.

Lucy’s favorite television shows, besides PLL of course, are Orange is the New Black and The Bachelorette.

Lucy also talked about the start of her acting career.  Her first ever acting job was for the Nickelodeon show Drake & Josh.  She was fifteen years old and incredibly nervous, but she nailed it.  She got to say one line in the episode. 

Since Lucy plays a Liar on PLL, she was asked about times she lied as a kid and thought she got away with those lies.  Lucy’s childhood lies were all food related.  She would lie to her mom and deny she ate a second cupcake or a whole box of cookies.  She wasn’t a huge liar, though.  She was just sassy.

Lucy was asked how she wants PLL to end.  Lucy would like Pretty Little Liars to end with stability, but she doesn’t think that will happen.  Like PLL fans, Lucy wants answers.  She wants to find out who the ultimate “A” is.

Lucy Hale and Selena Gomez have worked together before.  Lucy Hale guest starred as Miranda on a couple episodes of Selena Gomez’s show Wizards of Waverly Place.  Do you think Lucy Hale and Selena Gomez look similar?

Lucy Hale Talks Aria’s Pink Hair in PLL Season 6

Aria’s streaked pink hair, which she had the night Ali went missing, is making a comeback in Pretty Little Liars season 6.  In the promo for PLL 6x01, we saw that Aria’s hair is once again pink.  Yet the Liars are still trapped in the dollhouse.  Is Charles trying to recreate the night Alison disappeared?

Lucy Hale was careful not to get in trouble when answering this question, but she gave a hint to People Magazine.  "The pink hair is back, but not in the way that you think it's actually happening, if that makes sense. Because if you notice, I've got the pink hair and my new haircut."

Lucy also said that the Liars are like caged animals in season 6A.  The Liars will still be locked in Charles/“A”’s compound.

The Liars have a friendship that has only grown stronger over the years, but they may drift apart after escaping from the dollhouse.  “From my knowledge, they're going to go their own separate ways for a little bit”, Lucy said.  That makes sense, since we know there will be a four year time jump after season 6A.  The Liars will probably go off to different colleges.

Lucy can’t wait to see how Aria is going to evolve after the time jump.  “I'm curious to see how Aria is going to dress, what her job is, does she have pets? I want her to have a pet really bad!” Lucy said.

Shay Mitchell’s Hot Sauce Revenge

Shay Mitchell ended up in tears after getting pranked by fouseyTube, so she got her revenge by tricking him into drinking hot sauce.  Better not mess with Shay!

After fouseyTube terrified Shay with a fake drug deal gone bad, Shay responded by getting fouseyTube to do the Chubby Bunny Challenge with her.  They had to stuff as many marshmallows as they could in their mouths and say “Got him”.  The loser had to take a shot of hot sauce.

After he agreed to the challenge, Shay surprised him by giving him a bowl of huge marshmallows.  She only had to use tiny marshmallows.

fouseyTube and Shay both thought they had won and accused each other of cheating.  Since they couldn’t agree on a winner, they both decided to take hot sauce shots.

They were supposed to drink the hot sauce at the same time, but Shay tricked fouseyTube by only pretending to drink the hot sauce.

Maddie Ziegler to Guest Star PLL Season 6

Maddie Ziegler, twelve year old dancer on the Lifetime reality show Dance Moms, is guest starring on PLL season 6.  This role on Pretty Little Liars isn’t Maddie’s first acting job.  She has also guest starred on Drop Dead Diva and Austin & Ally.

Maddie will first appear in either episode 6x05 or 6x06.  The behind-the-scenes photos posted by the PLL cast show creepy photos of Maddie in a dirty nightgown.  In one photo, she is on a bed in a creepy, rundown room.  Does it look like she is in mental institution like Radley Sanitarium?  Don't remember Radley looking so creepy when Mona and Spencer were locked up in there.

Maddie seems excited to guest star on PLL.  She tweeted “Dream come true getting to work with these amazing people!”

It looks like Maddie will have some scenes with Troian Bellisario (Spencer on PLL).  Troian seems to be a fan of the Dance Moms star.  Troian posted a photo with Maddie and wrote “Number 1 reason to come into work today. I get to be a creepfest with the insanely talented and awesome @madisonziegler1313 (I know. I know. you're so jealous)”.

Shay Mitchell Cries in Drug Deal Gone Bad Prank

Shay Mitchell, Emily on PLL, was terrified when fouseyTube pulled an elaborate prank and tricked her into thinking her limo driver was shot in a drug deal gone bad.

Shay loves pulling pranks, but she had no idea that she was about to be the one getting pranked.  fouseyTube went undercover as Shay’s driver.  They cancelled Shay’s original driver and picked her up. 

Shay immediately got uncomfortable during the ride.  She noticed that the driver wasn’t following the GPS directions.  She was freaked when the driver made weird calls and drove into an alley.  Shay was about to jump out of the car.

The driver got out of the car in a back alley and faked a drug deal.  The fake drug dealer pretended to shoot the driver after an argument over money. 

Shay started freaking out and crying when she heard the gunshots.  She was terrified when the ‘gunman’ came over to the car.  Hilariously, Shay and her friend kept talking about calling ‘Lauren’ instead of calling the police.

Shay was shocked when she found out it was all just a prank.  She always thought if she was ever pranked by fouseyTube, she would realize it right away.

Shay Mitchell is a fan of fouseyTube's videos.  fouseyTube actually met up with Shay last year when she wanted to prank some of her friends.  However, they were never able to set a time to pull a prank together because of Shay's busy schedule.  So fouseyTube decided to prank Shay instead. 

Here is a behind the scenes video of how fouseyTube pulled off the prank.  Since Shay knows fouseyTube, he had to completely transform his face so she wouldn't recognize him.  He went through four hours of makeup to disguise himself.  It took fouseyTube months to find an opportunity to prank Shay.

How awesome was that prank on Shay Mitchell?  Shay already has an idea for a new prank to pull on one of her friends.  Hope she and fouseyTube prank one of her PLL co-stars next!

The Pretty Little Liars season six premiere is less than a month away!

PLL 6x01 Sneak Peek Photos

The episode stills for PLL 6x01 “Game On, Charles” have been released and they give us a hint of what is to come in the season 6 premiere. 

There are a few photos of Aria, Emily, Hanna, Spencer, and Mona freezing outside, still trapped by the fence that surrounds “A”’s compound.  Looks like Charles/"A" leaves them outside for a while after their failed escape attempt.  The prom dresses they have on are torn and dirty.

Alison DiLaurentis being cleared of murder charges and out of jail is big news in Rosewood.  Alison’s dad is by her side while she answers questions from the media.  Ezra and Caleb are also there, but they don’t look too happy as they watch the press conference.
