If you saw Ian Harding (Ezra on PLL) walking down the street, would you mistake him for James Marsden? That’s exactly what one young fan did, Ian explained to the women on The Talk.
Ian was in New York when a girl asked to take a photo with him. She said she loved him in Enchanted. Ian was happy to take the photo, but she was crushed after learning that he wasn’t James Marsden. Things became awkward as he tried to explain that he is an actor on Pretty Little Liars, which she’d never heard of.
Ian has had interesting fan encounters from other countries, too. He was in France around the time Pretty Little Liars was getting popular. He was in the Louvre looking at the Mona Lisa and he kept seeing flashes. He assumed people were taking photos of the Mona Lisa, but he realized they were all taking photos of him.
Ian also talked about his acting career. Pretty Little Liars was the first pilot audition he ever went on, so he was lucky to get the part so soon after college.
