Ashley Benson is Lady Lisa in ‘Pixels’ Featurette: Sword Fights and Martial Arts
Ashley Benson plays a teenager terrorized and bullied by “A” on PLL, but she gets to be a superhero as Lady Lisa in the movie Pixels.
Ashley plays Lady Lisa, a video game character come to life in the upcoming comedy Pixels. In this Adam Sandler comedy, aliens send down Lady Lisa and other video game characters to attack Earth.
Ashley Benson puts her sword fighting skills to use to beat up Ludlow (Josh Gad), who has a crush on Lady Lisa.
Lady Lisa is tough and nothing stops her. Ashley Benson thinks it is important for girls to see that they can do anything guys can do.
Ashley had to do a lot of martial arts and sword training for this role. She had fun punching, kicking and beating up Josh Gad.

Ashley Benson Badass in 'Pixels' Trailer
Ashley Benson, Hanna on PLL, is playing a completely different character in the upcoming sci-fi comedy Pixels.
In the newly released trailer for Pixels, you can see Ashley Benson kicking Josh Gad’s character (starts at 1:37 on the video). Ashley Benson plays Lady Lisa, sent to attack Earth when aliens misinterpret arcade games as an declaration of war.
Ashley tweeted “About to kick @joshgad in the face”.
Pixels will hit theaters on July 24, 2015.

PLL Star Ashley Benson Gets Role in Adam Sandler’s Movie “Pixels”
Ashley Benson, Hanna on Pretty Little Liars, has landed a role in Adam Sandler’s action-comedy movie Pixels.
Pixels is based on Patrick Jean’s short film about aliens who misunderstand arcade game video-feeds and assume it is a declaration of war. The aliens attack Earth in retaliation.
Other stars in the movie include Kevin James, Josh Gad, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Monaghan and Brian Cox.
Ashley Benson will play Lady Lisa, from the game Dojo Quest.
Expect to see Pixels in theaters next year.
