PLL Recap 7x14 "Power Play": A.D. Impregnated Alison With Emily’s Stolen Eggs

Things get a lot more twisted in Pretty Little Liars episode 7x14 “Power Play”. Alison is stunned when A.D. reveals Emily as the egg donor. Some mysteries are solved when we find out who Charlotte’s father is and who killed Jessica DiLaurentis. And Aria gets an offer from A.D. that might lead her down a dark path.

Aria waits in Ezra’s apartment for him to return. When he finally does, Aria tells him Nicole is sleeping upstairs. Ezra says that Nicole just took off. He had no idea she was at the apartment. He’s going to take her back to the clinic in the morning.

Ezra tells Aria that she doesn’t have to go, but Aria doesn’t want to stay while Nicole is sleeping in the bedroom. Clearly Ezra still hasn’t told Nicole about Aria, but he has to do it soon. Aria’s clothes are in the bedroom closet and there are pictures of Aria all over Ezra’s place. Nicole will have a lot of questions in the morning.

Aria crashes at Alison's house for the night. (Alison was wearing this ‘You're The Avocado To My Toast Boyfriend Tee’ by Emi-Jay in heather grey). The girls are shocked when they see the ‘Liar’s Lament’ board game in Alison’s living room. The game turns on and the Aria and Alison pieces start moving. The game is deciding who plays next.

The next morning, Spencer wakes up in bed with Detective Marco Furey. He gets a call and has to rush to the Rosewood police station early.

Here’s the synopsis for Pretty Little Liars episode 7x14 "Power Play":

“Ali’s turn at the game forces her to face a monumental personal decision, made even more difficult when A.D. triggers Ali to remember a forgotten trauma. Spencer has a long overdue conversation with her father about his past sins and recent whereabouts. Emily continues to navigate working at Rosewood High with both Ali and Paige, especially when Ali comes to a troubling realization about her pregnancy, and Paige makes a big decision. Aria continues to question the fate of her relationship with Ezra and bristles under A.D.’s taunts. And, in the search for Mary Drake, Hanna and Spencer run into a familiar face with a shocking secret.”

PLL 7x14 Sneak Peek: Spencer Confronts Peter

Spencer finally gets a chance to confront her dad in this sneak peek of Pretty Little Liars episode 7x14 “Power Play”.

Spencer comes in and sees her dad’s briefcase. She finds a business card for Maddie Harper. She also finds her dad’s passport, which shows Peter flew into Philadelphia a week ago (the same time Veronica did).

Spencer says that Veronica isn’t her real mom, but Peter says that Veronica raised Spencer. Both Veronica and Peter love Spencer.

So where has Peter been for the last week? Peter was looking for Mary. He won’t let her do more damage to their family. He knows Spencer is confused and hurt. However, he doesn’t regret what happened because they have Spencer. Spencer is their daughter and they love her so much.

Peter is working with an investigator to find Mary. Spencer accuses Peter of planning to chase away Mary so Spencer never gets the chance to see her again.

PLL 7x14 Sneak Peek: Hanna Worries A.D. Will Punish Her

In this sneak peek for Pretty Little Liars episode 7x14 “Power Play”, Hanna worries that A.D. will punish her for skipping her turn at the game.

Hanna talks to Lucas on the phone. She tells him that Caleb’s doing much better. He’s already home from the hospital. Unfortunately, the investor meeting that Hanna skipped out on didn’t go well. Hanna is hopeful the investors will change their minds, though.

Hilariously, Emily rushes in and tells Hanna to sniff her shirt to see if it smells. Emily didn’t have time to do laundry. She was out until 4AM following Sydney Driscoll. The shirt doesn’t smell, but there’s a huge coffee stain on the back of it.

Following Sydney didn’t lead Emily to Jenna. Remember the tracker Aria slipped in Sydney’s yoga bag? Sydney left the tracker in the bathroom of a Greyhound bus.

Hanna is worried that A.D. will punish her for not finishing her turn at the ‘Liar’s Lament’ board game. Emily says maybe Hanna’s punishment was A.D. hurting Hanna’s business and Caleb ending up in the hospital. She tells her not to freak out over something she can’t control.

PLL 7x14 Sneak Peek: A.D. Blackmails Aria with a Secret

Aria actually gets a video chat from A.D. in this promo for Pretty Little Liars episode 7x14 “Power Play”.

Aria gets a video chat request. She accepts and the mystery caller is A.D.! A.D. is wearing a hoodie and distorts his/her voice. A.D. shows Aria the file Jessica DiLaurentis had on her. (Remember when the Liars found Jessica’s files on all of them, but there was no Aria file? A.D. had already stolen the files on both Aria and Noel).

A.D. tells Aria “Jessica DiLaurentis kept excellent records. If Ezra knew what was in your file, he would definitely choose Nicole. And she would be visiting him in jail.”

Aria freaks out. She grabs the Aria figurine from the ‘Liar’s Lament’ board game and throws it across the room, shattering a wine glass.

What secret do you think is in Aria’s file? Ezra knows so many of Aria’s secrets and he never stopped loving her. Wonder what secret could make Ezra want to marry Nicole instead of Aria? Can’t wait to find out! PLL episode 7x14 “Power Play” will air Tuesday, May 9 on Freeform.

PLL 7x14 Promo “Power Play”: Will Aria Come Face to Face with A.D.?

In the promo for Pretty Little Liars episode 7x14 “Power Play”, it looks like Aria comes face-to-face with A.D.

The Liars are determined to stay united, despite A.D.’s twisted game. “We need each other. We cannot let this game rip us apart no matter what,” Spencer tells her friends. She also warns them that “No one can screw up. Not anymore”.

Spencer’s dad (Peter Hastings) finally comes home. “There are things that you just don’t understand,” he tells Spencer.

The Liars will get new answers to old mysteries. We will finally find out who killed Jessica DiLaurentis (Ali’s mom).

And things get intense for Aria. “I don’t want to lose. I want out,” Aria says. And is Aria going to find out who A.D. is? Aria is in the car with someone wearing a black hoodie and gloves. The person slowly lifts his/her hood up.

Do you think A.D. will reveal him/herself to Aria? Things are rarely that simple on Pretty Little Liars, so there could be another explanation. Maybe the hooded person isn’t really A.D.? Or maybe the person is wearing a mask under the hood? Either way, can’t wait to find out what happens on PLL 7x14 “Power Play”!
