PLL Stars Lucy Hale & Janel Parrish “Bittersweet” Win at 2017 Teen Choice Awards

Congratulations to actresses Lucy Hale and Janel Parrish! They won at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards and took home iconic Teen Choice surfboards Sunday night. The experience was bittersweet, though. The 2017 Teen Choice Awards was their last Pretty Little Liars event.

PLL Wins 6 Surfboard Trophies at Teen Choice Awards 2016

The Teen Choice Awards 2016 was a great night for Pretty Little Liars. PLL won in six categories, including Choice TV Show Drama.

The PLL cast also took home individual awards. Ashley Benson, Tyler Blackburn, Ian Harding, Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish all went home with those famous Teen Choice surfboards. Here are the categories they won:

Sasha Pieterse, who was nominated for Choice TV: Scene Stealer, did not attend the award ceremony. Neither did Troian Bellisario, who was nominated for Choice Summer TV Star: Female.

Troian thanked fans for voting for her and wrote “Hey guys! I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who has been voting for this years #TCA I am so honored to be nominated at the #teenchoiceawards I am so thrilled that some of my best friends and favorite people have been too! Janel Parrish Interviews Tyler Blackburn at Teen Choice Awards

Janel Parrish (Mona on PLL) attended the Teen Choice Awards as a nominee for TV Choice Villain, but she also worked the blue carpet as an interviewer.

Tyler Blackburn (Caleb on PLL) stopped by and Janel gave him a personalized Coca-Cola bottle with his name on it.  Janel asked him how long he waits to text a girl after getting her number.  Tyler said he’ll call the girl immediately if he’s really interested.  He doesn’t play games.

Janel quizzed other celebrities on their social media knowledge, asking them to define words popular on social media like “bae” and “shade”.

PLL Cast Wins at Teen Choice Awards 2014

Congrats to the cast of “Pretty Little Liars” for taking home six Teen Choice Awards last night.

Lucy Hale won a TCA for Choice TV Actress: Drama.

Ian Harding won for Choice TV Actor Drama and Tyler Blackburn won for Male Choice Summer TV Star.

Sasha Pieterse won for Choice TV Female Breakout Star.

Ashley Benson, who did not attend the award show this year, won for Choice Summer TV Star Female.

And “Pretty Little Liars” won Choice TV Show Drama.

Although Janel Parrish didn’t win for Choice TV Villain, she was busy on the red carpet doing interviews.

Glad to see “Pretty Little Liars” get some well-deserved wins at the Teen Choice Awards 2014.

PLL Cast Will Appear on Teen Choice Awards 2014

The Teen Choice Awards (TCAs) will be hosted by Sarah Hyland (from “Modern Family”) and Tyler Posey (from “Teen Wolf”).  The show will take place at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Keegan Allen (Toby on PLL), Tyler Blackburn (Caleb on PLL), Lucy Hale (Aria on PLL) and Ian Harding (Ezra on PLL) are scheduled to make appearances on the award show.  Ashley Benson (Hanna on PLL) has said she will not be attending the Teen Choice Awards this year, since she’ll be busy filming.  

Janel Parrish (Mona on PLL) will be reporting on the red carpet in the Coca-Cola Studio, where interviews will take place.

"Pretty Little Liars" has a total of eleven Teen Choice Award nominations.  Catch the cast of “Pretty Little Liars” on the TCAs this Sunday, August 10^th at 8-10PM on FOX.

Pretty Little Liars stars Lucy Hale and Troian Bellisario may be competing against each other for the Teen Choice Awards Best TV Drama Actress, but that doesn’t mean things are going to get ugly.

When asked what she thinks about competing with Lucy Hale for the award, Troian tweeted “don’t like being in competition with goose but it’s great because if either one of us wins #pll wins”.
