Recap of PLL 7x10 “The DArkest Knight”: Noel Gets Decapitated & Mary Drake is Spencer’s Mom

The season 7 summer finale of Pretty Little Liars (the last PLL summer finale ever), episode 7x10 “The DArkest Knight”, was intense. We got some answers, but we are left with even more questions. Noel Kahn’s death is the most gruesome PLL death to date. And we finally find out who Mary Drake’s second child is. Surprise! It’s Spencer. Hanna’s plan to kidnap Noel goes wrong when he escapes. It’s Noel and Jenna versus the Liars and not everyone is going to make it out alive.

The Liars, minus Hanna and plus Mona and Caleb, are freaking out over Hanna’s disappearing act. They want to call the cops, even though the police might find out Hanna ran Archer/Elliot over and the Liars buried him like a dog.

Mona wants to ping Hanna’s cell phone to find her, but Caleb already gave Hanna a phone that can’t be hacked. Worried that Noel kidnapped Hanna, the Liars decide to call the police. They tell the police everything about Noel, Jenna and Sara. Little do they know that Hanna actually kidnapped Noel.

Here’s the synopsis for the Pretty Little Liars season 7 summer finale episode 7x10 “The DArkest Knight”:

“The PLLs confront old foes head-on and mayhem ensues in ‘The DArkest Knight’.

The Liars face off with their enemies in a chaotic fight that ends fatally. One of the PLLs learns a secret about her past that changes everything while another Liar discovers something about her future that could alter her course forever.”

Pretty Little Liars “The DArkest Knight” will air Tuesday, August 30 on Freeform. There will be an all-day PLL marathon leading up the the season 7A summer finale.

Here’s the Canadian promo for the Pretty Little Liars summer finale episode 7x10 “The DArkest Knight”. (You can also watch the other official promo video for PLL "The DArkest Knight").

Hanna calls someone for help. Did she call Mona?

“The one thing she taught Charlotte and me … was how to smell fear” Noel tells the Liars. Who is the “she” Noel is talking about? Mary Drake? Or is there another mysterious “she”?

Hanna wants Noel to be held accountable for all the things he’s done.

PLL 7x10 Promo: Someone Gets Shot

Jenna’s out for blood in the Pretty Little Liars official promo video for the season 7 summer finale episode 7x10 “The DArkest Knight”.

Hanna succeeds in her plan to kidnap Noel. Hanna has Noel tied to a chair and she demands that Noel admit he is A.D.

Hanna finally calls Mona for help. “Next time, call me before you abduct someone,” Mona tells Hanna.

And the original couples are going to have their moments. We’ll finally get both a Haleb kiss and a Spoby kiss.

Hanna’s abduction of Noel doesn’t go smoothly. The rest of the Liars arrive at Hanna’s lair only to find Noel gone.

And Noel isn’t going to let the Liars leave without getting revenge. Jenna’s there too. Jenna points a gun at the Liars and turns the lights off. “Tonight you get to be me” she tells them.

It’s a #PLLDeathTrap. “You know too much” Noel tells them.

The gun goes off and we see blood on the floor. “What did you do?” Spencer yells.
