Sasha Pieterse & DWTS Partner Gleb Savchenko Talk Dance Rehearsals

Pretty Little Liars actress Sasha Pieterse has been working hard at rehearsals for Dancing with the Stars. Sasha Pieterse and DWTS pro Gleb Savchenko talked about how rehearsals have been going. Sasha also explained the biggest dance challenge she's facing on the show.

While at Planet Hollywood in New York City, Sasha Pieterse was asked how rehearsals have been. "Good. Really Good, I think. I've really enjoyed them," Sasha answered before asking partner Gleb Savchenko why he's so quiet.

"She's got a great sense of rhythm. Her parents are professional ballroom dancers, so that's in her blood. She's been awesome. She works really, really hard. And she's very talented, too. I feel like if you're talented in something, your talented in everything," Gleb said.

"You're being so nice," Sasha told him. "Just wait until next rehearsal," he joked.

What has been the biggest challenge for Sasha Pieterse so far on Dancing with the Stars?

Sasha overcomplicates and overthinks the choreography. “I always get stuck on the tiny things,” Sasha said. “Like, I love the movement and that kind of thing. I love that. I’m doing decent with that but every now and then I get stuck on something stupid and little.”

Gleb joked that Sasha will ask how to do something simple, like how to step forward.

"Shut up! That's mean! No, that's an over-exaggeration," Sasha told Gleb.

Sasha is most excited to try the tango. She's also excited for their first dance.

Sasha is nervous because some of her  competition has dance experience. (See the list of other stars competing on DWTS this season). Nevertheless, she believes in herself and her partner. She thinks they'll do good.

"Just remember, it's not always the greatest dancer wins. Just don't count them. We're gonna take a week at a time. We're going to try our best. We're going to do every week better than we did before. And let America decide who they want to see in the next week. Hopefully, it's going to be us," Gleb assured Sasha.

Sasha agreed. She's excited. And she's sure her fans will vote for her. Fans even figured out Sasha Pieterse would be on Dancing with the Stars before it was officially announced. "Actually, a lot of our fans had already guessed it was going to be me and Gleb, which is crazy. It was just by my hands, which is ridiculous. I love that. They're so awesome and they're so committed. Hopefully, they'll vote for us!" Sasha said.
