Sasha Pieterse was happy when she found out Gleb Savchenko was her dancing pro partner. He's one of the stricter pros, but she doesn’t think it’s a bad thing if he snaps at her a little.
Sasha doesn’t have any dance experience, but she has rhythm. Her go-to dance move is shaking her butt.
Sasha Pieterse's parents are professional dancers trained in ballroom and Latin. Sasha is looking forward to following in their footsteps.
Sasha Pieterse is getting married next year to her fiancé Hudson Sheaffer. (Hudson proposed to Sasha in December 2015). One reason Sasha wanted to do DWTS is so she can get in shape for her wedding.
Sasha has been acting her entire life, so she's used to multiple takes. Dancing with the Stars is nerve wracking for her because it's completely live. She only has one shot to complete the dance, but she'll give it all she's got. It's all about making it happen on the dance floor.
The dance rehearsals are grueling, though. After rehearsal, Sasha was ready for a sauna, ice bath, massage and cryo chamber.
Gleb Savchenko complimented Sasha Pieterse. Sasha has a great personality. She has natural rhythm and works really hard. It will take a lot of hard work, focus and sweat to win the Mirrorball Trophy.

Sasha Pieterse's DWTS Week One Score: 18/30
Each of the judges gave Sasha's Cha Cha dance a six. Sasha's score puts her in the middle of the group. Six competitors (out of thirteen) scored higher than 18.

Carrie Ann Inaba (choreographer and dance producer):
Carrie Ann Inaba thought Sasha looked fierce. Sasha moved her body well and hit all the angles. Sasha brought both the sexiness and the technique. However, Sasha did get ahead of the music at the beginning. Other than that, Sasha is on the right track.
Len Goodman (professional dancer and dance teacher):
"Control your nerves!" was Len's advice to Sasha.
Bruno Tonioli (choreographer):
"Pretty hot Cha Cha Sasha, but don't do any mistakes!" Bruno told Sasha.
