Sasha Pieterse danced a beautiful Viennese Waltz on week 2 of Dancing with the Stars. Sasha's parents are professional ballroom dancers, so ballroom dancing is in her blood. Sasha Pieterse's parents were in the audience watching Sasha's waltz. They both looked incredibly proud of Sasha's ballroom dance debut.
Pretty Little Liars actor Brant Daugherty (Noel Kahn) was going to be in the audience cheering Sasha Pieterse on, but wasn't able to make it. He's going to attend the week 3 performance instead.
Brant tweeted "Had a work appt come up this evening so I wasn't able to make it! I'm on the list for next week though #teamAteam".

Pretty Little Liars actress Ashley Benson and showrunner Marlene King both supported Sasha by watching the performance at home. Marlene tweeted a photo of Ashley Benson watching Sasha Pieterse on DWTS. "Watching our @SashaaPieterse w these two blondes. @AshBenzo and Brit!" Marlene tweeted.
Watch Sasha Pieterse and her dancing pro partner Gleb Savchenko dance the Viennese Waltz to Rose Royce's "I'm Going Down" in the video below:
Sasha Pieterse's score: 23/30
Sasha and Gleb tied for second place with Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz and his dancing pro partner Witney Carson. They danced the Tango to “Whatever It Takes” by Imagine Dragons. They're up against fierce competition. Vanessa Lachey and and dancing pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy are tied first place after their Foxtrot to “Hit Me With a Hot Note” by Tami Tappan Damiano. Jordan Fisher and dancing pro Lindsay Arnold also came in first after their Viennese Waltz to 'Count On Me' by Judah Kelly.
Dancing with the Stars Judge's Critiques:
Len Goodman (professional dancer and dance teacher): 8
Len was complimentary of Sasha's dancing, saying "Sasha, I think you've got a really nice position in hold."
However, Len had some choreography criticisms for Gleb. Len is fed up with the slow dances like the Foxtrot and the Viennese Waltz. They are all swooshy and look the same. "Now you have the confidence in Sasha to come out next time you do a ballroom dance (if you do) and show me a proper dance in hold and just knock my socks off, sunshine."
Bruno Tonioli (choreographer): 7
Bruno Tonioli wanted Sasha Pieterse to work on her free arm.
"Oh, my darling. So glossy, so luscious, so glamorous! And I have to say that spin on the backbend, abandoned in the arms of your partner was beautiful, but you have to watch your free arm. It has to have much more fluidity. When you have your free arm, you cannot just throw it like a plank. As you turn it, it has to continue across. You really have to work on that because otherwise it was good, but I could not overlook that kind of placement of the free hand. You were like karate chopping things" Bruno told Sasha.
Carrie Ann Inaba (choreographer and dance producer): 8
Luckily, Carrie Ann Inaba totally had Sasha's back. "What are you talking about?" Carrie Ann Inaba asked Bruno Tonioli after his 'karate chop' criticism. "I know you have a different angle than me, so I respect you Sir Bruno. However, I thought your arms were absolutely lovely and totally expressive and elongated. You have natural flexibility and you have natural facility."
Carrie Ann Inaba also loved that Gleb Savchenko allowed Sasha Pieterse to shine. "You didn't hide her behind fancy choreography".
Carrie continued to praise Sasha, saying "You really shone brightly tonight. And it's truly you. I want to see more. You are a star."
Afterwards, DWTS host Tom Bergeron asked Sasha if she felt ganged up on in rehearsals. Sasha's dancing pro parents joined Gleb at her rehearsals, so it was three against one. Tom Bergeron wondered if that put additional pressure on Sasha.
Sasha had fun with her parents. She didn't feel pressured, but it felt like she was put in the corner. The three of them were always right. And her parents agreed with everything Gleb said.
"You have no idea what we're talking about," Gleb teased Sasha.
