Troian Bellisario and Diego Boneta (Spencer and Alex on PLL) Reunion

Troian Bellisario (Spencer on PLL) recently had a reunion with PLL guest star Diego Boneta.  Diego Boneta appeared in five Pretty Little Liars episodes as Spencer’s love interest Alex Santiago back in season one.

Troian and Diego ran into each other at Entertainment Weekly’s pre-Emmys party.  Diego posted this photo of his reunion with Troian Bellisario and captioned it “Loved seeing this smart, beautiful and talented woman @sleepinthegardn
Crazy to think it's been 5 years since we worked together... Great memories!”

Back in season one of PLL, Alex was the tennis player who Spencer had a brief relationship with.  Alex wasn’t interested in attending a tennis clinic in Sweden, even though Spencer thought it was an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.  “A” (Mona) sent in an application to the tennis clinic for Alex anyway, leading Alex to blame Spencer for going behind his back and submitting the application.  Alex thought they wanted different things and they broke up after that fight.

Diego hasn’t appeared in any PLL episodes since then, but he has been busy with other projects.  He is currently starring in Fox’s horror-comedy television show Scream Queens as Pete Martinez.  Scream Queens airs on Tuesdays at 9PM/8C on Fox.
