Lindsey Shaw will be in a couple of episodes, beginning with episode 7x08 according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Are you happy that Paige will be returning to Rosewood? It doesn’t look hopeful for Paily fans though, since it looks like Lindsey is only in two episodes. What do you think will happen when Paige comes back to town?

Who Does Shay Mitchell Want Emily to End Up With?

Just in time for Valentine's Day, Shay Mitchell took a trip down memory lane and talked about all of Emily’s relationships.

Shay shared what first comes to mind when she thinks of Emily’s previous girlfriends:

Maya – First.
Samara – Cute.  Blonde and bubbly.  Shay loved working with Claire Holt (Samara on PLL).
Alison – Seductive.  She knows how to play it off just the right amount.
Paige – Amazing.  She’s been with Emily through thick and thin.
Talia – Interesting.  Shay’s waiting to see where the relationship heads.

Is Shay on Team Paily?  When asked who Shay Mitchell personally think Emily fits best with, her answer was Paige.

Shay loves working with Lindsey Shaw (Paige on PLL).  “She’s so great and we probably had the longest relationship, so that's probably one that I'm most attached to”.  Shay also said that she thinks Paige is really great with Emily.

Shay Mitchell Sad About Paily Breakup on PLL

Shay Mitchell (Emily on PLL) discussed her initial reaction to the Emily and Paige breakup in an interview with Wetpaint.

Shay said “I was so sad! Honestly, I love Lindsey Shaw so much. She's so amazing and I love her presence on set. So I was like — Wait a minute, how long is she going for? And they were like, Ummm, undecided for right now.

It's always tough, because you get really close with the actor that you've been working with, and then when they're not going to be working as much, it's kind of disappointing. Also, for my character, it's just heartbreaking. But they have been up and down more often than not, so I think maybe it would be a good thing to get a break.”

Are you hoping for a Paige and Emily reunion?

Keegan Allen’s BTS Photos of PLL Christmas

Keegan Allen (Toby on PLL) took lots of photos while filming the PLL Christmas episode.  He posted these awesome behind-the-scenes photos on Seventeen’s Instagram.

Here’s a photo of Shay Mitchell (Emily on PLL) and Lindsey Shaw (Paige on PLL).

Keegan captioned the photo “I love this moment between @shaym and @ladymshawsters. They look mad at each other here, but weren’t. In this second they were running lines, but also just really tired. There was just a single moment of reflection where they go back into being themselves. There’s just so much power. There’s a frustration of what happens in the scene.”

Here is a gorgeous photo of Ashley Benson (Hanna on PLL).

Keegan wrote “I remember thinking that this picture was almost hypnotic. Something happens to Hanna in the episode and @itsashbenzo was playing up the emotion of her character. This was in between setting up the camera and I just had her turn quickly. It was that simple. She’s so stunning”.

This is a cute photo of Ian Harding (Ezra on PLL) and Lucy Hale (Aria on PLL).

Keegan captioned it “I like to capture everyone when they’re just being themselves. @lucyhale and @ianmharding are great friends. Lucy’s so charming and Ian’s just a total nice guy. There’s no hostility or animosity and I think that’s why the writers have continued these relationships for the fans because there is real chemistry between all of us.”

Here’s Ashley Benson with Tyler Blackburn (Caleb on PLL).

Keegan wrote “Something happens to Hanna in the episode, so Ashley was trying to keep that feeling even in between takes. She needed to keep that emotion in her blood so it wouldn’t dwindle or go away. I enjoy that subtle small moment, where you can tell there’s something very real going on. Tyler was just being super cool.”

And here is a cool group photo.

Keegan captioned it “There’s a huge reveal in this episode, a huge surprise that we’ve done for the fans. This photo was taken the moment before that happened. It was kind of a surprise for the girls too. I don’t know if the fans will be laughing or screaming. It will get a lot of attention for sure.”

Keegan was definitely right about the surprise for the fans getting a lot of attention!

Recap of PLL "We Love You To Death" Halloween Special

A photo posted by @imarleneking on

Pretty Little Liars “We Love You to DeAth” was a Halloween special for the fans.  Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, Shay Mitchell, and Sasha Pieterse discussed PLL and answered fan questions in Spencer’s living room.  Old faces returned from the dead to discuss their characters.

Here are the highlights of the PLL Halloween special:

Identity of “A” will be Revealed Soon:
We won’t have to wait until the end of season 7 to find out who the big “A” is.  Marlene King promises that we will know who “A” is before season 7 starts.  The writers assure us that they have an endgame in mind.  There is a future beyond Rosewood and life after high school for the Liars.

Some of the PLL Cast Already Know Who “A” is:
Troian and Ashley already know the identity of “A”, which made Lucy feel left out.

The Girls Would Love to Work with Lindsey Shaw (Paige) More:
When asked who the girls want to have more scenes with, both Troian and Ashley agreed that it would be great to have some scenes with Lindsey Shaw (Paige on PLL).  Spencer and Hanna haven’t had much interaction with Paige on the show.

The Girls Do Their Own Stunts:
All the actresses love doing their own stunts.  In “Singe Fright Female” PLL episode 3x11, when Spencer gets locked in the dressing room with a snake, Troian even wanted to hold the snake.

Death of PLL Characters:
Bryce Johnson (Det. Wilden on PLL) explained that he would call his character Detective Creepy Pants.  The PLL actresses all miss Bryce, who they say is funny.  Bryce said Wilden’s coffin was actually really comfortable.  They gave him a pillow to rest his head on.  He mentioned the photo Ian Harding (Ezra on PLL) posted online of Bryce texting while he was in the coffin.

Yani Gellman, who played Garrett Reynolds on PLL, talked about the scene in “This is a Dark Ride” episode 3x13, when Aria screams as she discovers that she is trapped in a crate with his dead body.  Yani said it went from terrifying to hilarious.  They had a lot of fun shooting that.

When Janel Parrish was told Mona was going to die, Marlene assured her that she hadn’t done anything wrong.  Janel said it wasn’t easy to keep her eyes open when they were filming Mona’s dead body in the trunk of the car.

PLL Guys are “Less Yummy” Now:
The PLL actresses constantly work with gorgeous actors, but they don’t really notice that anymore.  Sasha said that the guys get less yummy, since they are always around.  However, the guys are really funny.  Troian and Lucy agreed.  Lucy explained that the novelty of their looks has worn off.  The guys are attractive, but they know each other so well now and they’ve seen so many different sides to them.

Grueling Fraterdays:
Sometimes PLL filming goes late Friday into early Saturday mornings, which they call Fraterdays.  They get through those nights with lots of coffee and food.  Lucy points out that those are the times they laugh a lot and have the most fun.

This Vine video Troian posted last year seems to depict the fun Lucy was talking about.  In the video, Lucy Hale, Lindsey Shaw, Ryan Guzman, and Troian Bellisario show us just how crazy late night shooting can get.

Favorite “A” Final Closer Scenes:
The girls bring up the creepy closing scene when “A” dragged Alison’s mom across the lawn to bury her.

Janel likes the funny scenes, like the time is seemed as though “A” was going to eat Tippi the bird.  Turned out “A” was just feeding Tippi.  Janel thought that scene was morbidly funny.

There are “A”s Hidden in Every Set:
There is usually an “A” hidden in every set.  For example, it might be an “A” on a mug in the background of Ezra’s apartment.  Even in the scene when the lodge caught on fire, they tried to make the flames look like the letter “A”.  They also try to have a crack in the wall or a window, so that “A” can always spy on the Liars.

What the PLL Cast is Afraid of:
Ashley thinks her house has some ghost activity.  Lucy said she lived in a haunted house a couple of years ago.  According to Sasha, Shay is scared of rodents.  Janel said she’s scared of spiders and clowns.  Keegan gets freaked out by campfire stories.

Who Should Have Your Back in a Zombie Apocalypse:
Spencer and Emily were good choices, but Lucy’s choice of “A” was probably the best one.  “A” would definitely be someone to have on your side.

They also discussed Emily’s girlfriends, their favorite “A” messages, and their funniest memories on the PLL set.

The Halloween special ended with the cast thanking PLL fans for all the support.  Lucy started crying as she expressed how grateful she is.

Lindsey Shaw Talks Paily PLL Season 5

Lucy Hale and Lindsey Shaw

Paige, played by actress Lindsey Shaw, has been on a long journey throughout the seasons of “Pretty Little Liars”.  Lindsey talked to Starry Constellation Magazine about Paige’s journey and relationship with Emily.

Lindsey’s reaction to Paige and Emily’s breakup:
Lindsey wants Paily to work, so it was heartbreaking.  At the same time, this gives both Paige and Emily the chance to discover different sides to themselves.  And Paige has a lot to sort through with Ali’s return to Rosewood.  Paige “is trying to really take the high road where this big gash, this wound in her life is.  She wants her girlfriend to come along with her, but she is choosing herself.  Paige is choosing herself and I think that is incredibly strong and beautiful”.

Will Alison and Paige’s dynamic change?
Lindsey doesn’t think so, since Ali’s apology is too little, too late.  She doesn’t believe Ali has really changed.  “I think she is going to continue endangering not only Paige, but the woman Paige loves (Emily). She is just done with the games, but knows the games aren’t going to end. She did it as much for Emily as she did it for herself”.  So Lindsey thinks Ali and Paige will continue to have mutual dislike.

Paige and Mona’s Connection:
“I think that Mona and Paige connect at the deepest level, which is their hurt, vulnerability and their sadness. I think when two people connect like that, no matter over what sort of comes from it, it is just a very strong bond. I think beneath it all is they are hurt and they are finding refuge in one another. They are just trying to protect themselves”.  Although they connect on that level, Paige is trying to do what is right and not play Mona’s game.

Filming the Paige and Ali confrontation:
Lindsey says filming that scene was intense and fun.  “I think what really came through is the strength it takes to look someone in the eye and say, ‘I was devastated by what you did to me’”.

How will Paige react to Emily’s semi-romance with Alison?
Lindsey isn’t sure if Paige will play it cool or fight for Emily.  Regardless, it probably won’t change Paige’s feelings for Emily.  “I don’t think there is anything Emily could ever do that would make Paige not on her team or not wanting to give her the benefit of the doubt. There isn’t much that Paige won’t overlook for her. I don’t know. It could be a stormy revelation, but at the same time she is in it for the long haul”.

Will Emily find out about the cruel fake love letter Alison wrote to Paige?
Lindsey doesn’t think so, since Paige is trying really hard to let the past go and move on.

Best part about playing Paige?
“The thing that I just admire the most about Paige is that she is not afraid anymore. She has not only gotten into her fear, but worn it like a cape. She let her vulnerability hang out there and let out these emotions that you don’t want other people to see”.  Paige is coming into her own and has been making courageous choices.

Regardless of whether you are a Paily fan or an Emison fan, Lindsey Shaw is a phenomenal actress who really understands her character Paige McCullers.  She was amazing in "Miss Me x 100" when she confronted Ali about the bullying.  Can’t wait to see what is in store for Paige on “Pretty Little Liars” as the season goes on.
