7 Movies to Watch this Halloween

Here's a list of 7 terrifying movies to watch this October! All of these movies feature a Pretty Little Liars actress. Hopefully these movies will get you in the Halloween spirit!

Lucy Hale in Scream 4

1. Scream 4

Lucy Hale just has a cameo in Scream 4, but she takes over whenever she's on screen. She plays Sherrie Marconi in the fourth installment of the classic slasher film franchise. (And yes, there will be a Scream 5. Filming has already started for the newest installment in the franchise).

Fun fact: Lucy Hale was actually slated to play Marnie Cooper, who was ultimately played by Brittany Robertson (The Longest Ride). The wife of one of the Scream 4 producers was a huge Pretty Little Liars fan. She told him to watch the show and see if he liked any of the actresses. So they called up Lucy Hale. She nailed her audition for Marnie and got the part. Unfortunately, filming for Scream 4 conflicted with her Pretty Little Liars filming schedule. They still wanted Lucy to be in the movie, so they gave her a different role.

Scream 4
synopsis:
In Scream 4, Sidney Prescott, now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey and Gale, who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (played by Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Unfortunately Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghost Face, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.
