Sasha Pieterse Gets Lowest Score of Night for Jazz on DWTS

Sasha Pieterse and Gleb Savchenko danced a light and fluffy Jazz dance to “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)” by Four Tops on Dancing with the Stars Week 3. It was a cute routine, but it didn't get top scores from the DWTS judges. (Remember to vote for Sasha so she won't be eliminated from DWTS!) Sasha Pieterse had some Pretty Little Liars support in the audience, though. Brant Daugherty, Noel Kahn on PLL, was in the audience cheering Sasha Pieterse on.

The theme of the week was 'Guilty Pleasures', so Sasha Pieterse and Gleb Savchenko danced a cute baking-themed Jazz routine. The concept was that Sasha and Gleb were up against each other in a bake-off competition.

Pretty Little Liars actor Brant Daugherty was seen clapping and cheering loudly in the audience after Sasha's performance. Brant attended the performance with his girlfriend actress Kim Hidalgo.

Aferwards, Brant tweeted " I'm so proud right now! You were so amazing tonight @SashaaPieterse #DWTS25".

He also tweeted "👍🏼 always support family".

Brant Daugherty shared this photo of himself, Sasha Pieterse and Kim Hidalgo from the DWTS studio and captioned it " So proud of you @sashapieterse27 You were incredible tonight! And we finally came full circle with this photo".

Sasha Pieterse was glad Brant Daugherty came to cheer her on. "Yes! Absolutely LOVED seeing you ❤️" Sasha tweeted to Brant.

At the end of the routine, Sasha Pieterse threw a pie in Gleb Savchenko's face. The pie in the face reminded DWTS host Tom Bergeron of The Three Stooges, saying it was "worthy of Moe Howard."

Watch Sasha Pieterse and her dancing pro partner Gleb Savchenko dance a Jazz routine to “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)” by Four Tops for DWTS Week 3 in the video below.

Sasha Pieterse's score: 19/30

That score put Sasha Pieterse in last place. In first place was Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas for their Jive to "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" by Wham!.

Gleb Savchenko asked fans to vote for them, writing on Instagram "We need you guys to vote if you wanna keep @sashapieterse27 and I in a competition. Loved our dance tonight, but we ended up on a bottom of a leader board please please please vote now call: 18008683410 http://dwtsvote.abc.go.com or http://dwtsfb.votenow.tv/ #teamAteam".

Sasha Pieterse wrote "In light of the last few days we hope our Jazz number brought some smiles to you and your families. ❤️ You’re in our thoughts and prayers and its an honor to perform for all of you. A huge thank you to all who voted and are still voting for us. We love you guys and we’re so happy to be in this competition. Please help keep us around 😉 #teamateam #DWTS #prayforvegas".

There was a lot of other drama this week on Dancing with the Stars. Dance pro Maks Chmerkovskiy didn't show up, so pro Alan Bersten took his place. Officially, the show said “Maks is dealing with a personal issue, so Alan is stepping in.

However, according to People the real reason Maks Chmerkovskiy was a no-show is because of ongoing conflict and chemistry issues with partner Vanessaa Lachey. “There’s a big chemistry issue. They both have big personalities and that’s not always the best recipe for a good partnership. They’ve been fighting a lot.”

Maks Chmerkovskiy also had issues with his DWTS partner in season 13. He apparently said of soccer player Hope Solo, “That’s literally the only person that I could dislike from my past, present or future.”

Dancing with the Stars Judge's critiques of Sasha Pieterse's Jazz Routine:

Bruno Tonioli (choreographer):
Bruno Tonioli thought it was a fun dance, but not as good as he expected.

"Oh my God! You two remind me of the Swedish chef in The Muppets. I had no idea what was going on! All the right ingredients definitely there, thrown together beautifully. I don’t  know if Martha Stewart would approve. I think you should have taken a bit more care in the cooking. Great, great fun but it didn't kind of come together as I was expecting. It was a bit loose here and there, but great fun."

Carrie Ann Inaba (choreographer and dance producer):
Carrie Ann Inaba agreed with Bruno. "In truth I kind of just kept waiting for the dance to begin and then I really looked at it. And I realized that's what you chose to do. So you chose to very in-sync choreography, mirroring each other. It's not exactly what you would always call jazz, but jazz is very broad. And I thought that it was well-executed. I would love to see more from you just cause I think you such an incredible mover, but it was very clean, it was very well-rehearsed and it was well done".

Len Goodman (professional dancer and dance teacher):
Len already knows Sasha Pieterse is a good dancer, but this light Jazz routine didn't utilize her talent. "Well, to be honest, I don't have to see more because I've seen your past performances and I know how good a dancer you are. And as fun as this was, it didn't really showcase your ability to dance."
