PLL Cast Takes Lie Detector Test

The PLL cast took a lie detector test to see if they are pretty little liars in real life.  Watch this Vanity Fair ‘Pretty Little Lie Detector’ video to see how Lucy Hale (Aria), Ashley Benson (Hanna), Shay Mitchell (Emily), Troian Bellisario (Spencer) and Sasha Pieterse (Alison) handled tough questions while hooked up to a lie detector. 

Lucy Hale got hit with some hard questions, but she answered honestly.  Which Liar told the most lies?  Shay Mitchell told one lie, but Troian Bellisario told the most lies out of all the girls. 

Ashley Benson

Ashley Benson (Hanna) was up first.  She got some pretty easy questions.  Ashley started off with a lie.  She said that she was enjoying herself, but the lie detector said otherwise. 

Ashley also said she wasn’t a morning person.  When asked if she was a better kisser than her cast mates, Ashley had a diplomatic answer.  She doesn’t know because she’s never kissed any of them. 

Shay Mitchell

Shay Mitchell was next.  She was asked if she loves making out with girls on Pretty Little Liars.  Shay said ‘love’ is a very strong word.  She doesn’t mind it, though.  When asked who her favorite girl to make out with on the show is, she answered Sasha Pieterse. 

Shay answered the first few questions honestly.  However, when she denied ever cheating on a boyfriend, the lie detector showed that she wasn’t being honest.  And Lucy Hale was hilariously shocked when Shay denied ever cheating. 

Lucy Hale

Lucy Hale was so nervous that she was shaking.  She didn’t want her cast mates to go easy on her, so she said “bring it, but be nice”.  Lucy can’t see herself making out with Ian Harding (Ezra) for another two years on PLL. 

Troian Bellisario wanted to know if Lucy has ever been so angry that she thought about hurting someone.  Lucy admitted that she has, but she promised that she isn’t going to kill anyone. 

Lucy said Troian Bellisario is the cleanest on set.  Lucy loves Ashley Benson, but she thinks Ashley is the messiest on set.

Sasha Pieterse

Sasha Pieterse answered her questions honestly, but had one question redacted (who she thinks is the most sexual cast mate). 

Sasha thinks Ashley Benson and Shay Mitchell are the biggest flirts, which surprised the other girls.  Ashley Benson thinks Lucy Hale is the biggest flirt.  Lucy said she’s just friendly, but she admitted that she’s flirtatious.

Troian Bellisario

Troian Bellisario was the last one to do the lie detector test and she told the most lies.  Troian Bellisario denied that she ever cheated on a test, but the lie detector showed that she was lying.  Despite that, Troian still insisted that she doesn’t recall ever cheating.

Troian denied thinking that she’s smarter than the rest of the girls, but that also seemed to be a lie.  Troian was telling the truth when she said that she has a higher level of education than the rest of the girls, though.

The PLL actress also played Vanity Fair's "Who Is Kissing Who?" game, where the girls looked at up-close clips of PLL couples kissing and they had to guess which cast mates were making out.
