Janel Parrish Does Sexy Burlesque Dance on DWTS Week 5

It was switch-up week on Dancing With the Stars, which meant Janel left her dancing partner Val and got a new partner for the week. 

Janel was blindfolded and guessed who her new partner was by feeling his arms and abs.  She was right on her first guess.  Her new partner was Artem Chigvintsev (who is usually paired up with Lea Thompson from ABC Family’s Switched at Birth).

Janel and Artie did a burlesque dance to a song by Jessie J. (who happened to be a guest judge).

The judges had some mixed feelings about the dance.  Julianne didn’t think it was really burlesque.  On the other hand, Bruno loved how sexy it was.  Carrie Ann thought Janel and Artem did some dangerous lifts, which showed that Janel had complete trust in Artem.  However, she agreed with Julianne that the dance lacked the humor of a true burlesque dance. 

Julianne, Carrie Ann and guest judge Jessie J. all gave Janel 8s, but Bruno gave her a 9.  With a total score of 33, Janel ended up in fourth place.
