Alison DiLaurentis used to
rule the halls of Rosewood High as the Queen of Mean, making enemies wherever
she went. Ali now claims she wants to
change. Can she really change her ways?
Ali seems sincere when she
says she wants to make amends for everything she’s done. And she was devastated to read the hateful
messages people left online when she went missing. She took a huge step in apologizing to Paige
for everything she did to her.
Unfortunately, in “Miss Me x 100” there were some signs that changing is
going to be a struggle for Ali.
The Ali versus Mona

Mona threw the first punch
and got what she wanted with the recording of Ali slapping her. Clearly, Mona manipulated the situation to
her advantage. She’ll do anything to get
rid of Ali. And Ali did try to end the
fight by saying that they don’t have to do this.
However, Ali was pretty quick with her threat to destroy Mona and make her “Loser Mona” again. Even though Mona tortured and tormented Hanna, Aria, Spencer, and Emily, those girls didn’t really do much to Mona in retaliation. Maybe old habits are harder to break than Ali thinks.

Ali’s Romantic Interest in
Emily (Emison):
Ali said Emily’s feelings
for her weren’t one-sided. Contrary to
what she said in the past, kissing Emily wasn’t just practice for the real
thing with boys. And she and Emily seem
to be interested in starting up a relationship.
However, the timing of
Ali’s interest is a little bit suspicious.
It’s only after Emily is getting ready to meet up with Paige, and Alison
is not invited to join them, that Ali decides to tell Emily that she is
interested in her. And Ali reaches out
to Emily again, after her friends are furious at her for lying to them about
the details of the Mona confrontation.
This sort of feels like
what Ali did to Emily a few years ago, when Ali would toy with Emily’s feelings
just to have power and control over her friends.
