PLL Season 7 Spoilers: Jason DiLaurentis Returns

Actor Drew Van Acker will be back on Pretty Little Liars in season 7 to portray Alison’s older brother Jason DiLaurentis.

PLL showrunner Marlene King told Entertainment Weekly that Jason will be back on the show in season 7. “Jason has really been running the Carissimi Group for Charlotte. That’s the fund where Charlotte had all her money, where she funded her A-ness — I’ll say it — and he’s off doing Carissimi Group charity work so we realized in last night’s episode that Mary Drake and Elliot intend to steal back that company, so that’s what’s going to bring Jason back into our story” Marlene said.

PLL season 7 will focus on DiLaurentis family secrets. Actress Andrea Parker, who portrays identical twin sisters Jessica DiLaurentis and Mary Drake on PLL, was promoted to series regular. In season 7, we will find out who killed Jessica DiLaurentis and Charlotte.

PLL Sneak Peek 5x17: Hanna’s Mom Quitting Her Job

Seems like Hanna’s mom thinks avoiding Jason is the best way to deal with their hookup.  In this Pretty Little Liars sneak peek of “The Bin of Sin”, Jason and Ashley discuss business over lunch.  She’s ready to leave and find a new job.

She tells Jason that Ted proposed to her.  He was gone for three months and she was lonely.  Jason understands, since he knows what it feels like to be lonely. 

PLL Sneak Peek 5x16: Hanna Confronts Mom About Jason

Looks like Hanna isn’t too thrilled about her mom’s date night with Jason.  In this sneak peek of PLL 5x16 “Over a Barrel”, Pastor Ted is back from Peru.  He was in Peru putting a new roof on a chapel and building a new playground for the sponsor school. 

Hanna doesn’t understand why her mom would get involved with Jason.  She wants to talk about it, but her mom refuses.

PLL 5x15 Sneak Peek: Jason Thinks Alison Killed Their Mom

In this Pretty Little Liars 5x15 sneak peek, Alison tries to call her brother from jail.  Ms. Marin answers the phone.  When Jason refuses to pick up, Ms. Marin is placed in the uncomfortable position of telling Alison that he can’t talk to her.

Ms. Marin is upset with Jason, but he explains why he can’t talk to her.  He’s seen her once, but he can’t look at her without wondering if she killed their mom.

PLL Sneak Peek 5x14: Jason Confronts Alison

In this sneak peek of “Through a Glass, Darkly” PLL episode 5x14, Jason DiLaurentis stops by the DiLaurentis house to pick up some files for the office.  He looks through all the photos their dad kept.

Jason finds a family photo.  Alison remembers that was a great day, but Jason reminds her that it wasn’t.  Their dad lost his wallet, Jason and Alison were fighting the whole time and it took forever to get a photo of the whole family smiling.  Jason says both Alison and their dad have a knack of remembering things differently.  And Alison had their dad wrapped around her finger from day one.

Jason thinks Spencer and Emily's theory that Ali killed Mona is true.  Alison went somewhere Thanksgiving Day.  Then she came home and barely said a word.

Alison claims that she is being framed.  She says the Liars are all working together to get rid of her.  She insists that she didn’t kill Mona.

PLL Season Five Spoilers: Melissa and Jason Back in Action

Its official, Melissa’s back for Pretty Little Liars episode 5x07, titled “The Silence of E. Lamb”.  Joshua Butler, director of the episode, tweeted a monitor picture of Torrey DeVitto (Melissa).

In the spring finale of PLL season four, “A is for Answers”, Melissa is surprised when she learns her dad fears Spencer killed the blonde girl buried in Ali’s grave.  Melissa leans in and whispers something to her dad.  We haven’t found out what she whispered, so hopefully Melissa’s return will provide us with some answers.   

Melissa isn’t the only one back in Rosewood.  Looks like Jason, Ali’s older brother, will be home for Ali’s homecoming.  Check out the behind the scenes photo of the gorgeous Drew Van Acker, who plays Jason on Pretty Little Liars.

Is Jason going to be happy to see Ali alive?  Ezra did have a theory that Jason is a suspect.  Jason always seems to know more than he lets on and he seems to have a lot of his own secrets.
