We'll see Alison's feisty side in Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists spinoff
A Pretty Little Liars spinoff pilot, Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, was recently announced. We know it will star Sasha Pieterse (Alison) and Janel Parrish (Mona), but didn't get many details.
Luckily, Sasha Pieterse has spilled some more details, specifically about the fate of Emison and their twin babies. And expect a time jump from when Pretty Little Liars ended to when the spinoff picks up. Will we see other Pretty Little Liars make guest appearances on the PLL spinoff? Original Pretty Little Liars Cast Guest Starring on Spinoff
Sasha Pietere was asked if we'll see the other Liars make appearances on the Pretty Little Liars spinoff. “I'm sure that they will. We have to keep the PLL family alive, obviously -- and Emison, of course,” Sasha told ET.Shay Mitchell will be busy, though. Shay Mitchell is going to star in Marlene King's new show The Heiresses (based on The Heiresses book by Pretty Little Liars best selling author Sara Shepard). Even though Shay Mitchell will be busy filming her new show, Sasha Pieterse still thinks they'll make it work.
"I don't think that will be a problem at all. I think the fans will really appreciate it, so that's what we really care about anyway,” Sasha said. ”Marlene just really likes to keep it in the family, literally. She's such an amazing person. She's got such a big heart and we really love her so much, and the fact that we can all stick together somehow, really means a lot to us.”
Emison's Fate
Sasha Pieterse has already read the PLL spinoff pilot script and she wants to reassure Emison fans. Nothing bad is going to happen to Emison. "I know a lot of the fans are wondering about Emison, and Emison is good. We’re great. The babies are good. That stays the same," Sasha told HollywoodLife.Time Jump
So does the spinoff picks up right where the Pretty Little Liars finale left off? There may be a time jump of 1-2 years. "I don't want to get in trouble, but I think it's a year or two [after],” Sasha Pieterse revealed.Sasha Pieterse is glad the spinoff takes place after the events of the PLL finale. She's excited to explore Alison's new role as a mother of twin babies. “Honestly, I'm so glad that we're kind of picking up where we left off. We left it in such a good place and I'm excited to be a mom, hell yeah!”
Alison DiLaurentis More Feisty in Beacon Hills
Sasha Pieterse loves the character of Alison DiLaurentis, so she wants to continue Alison's journey. Sasha said Alison will be a bit more feisty in the Pretty Little Liars spinoff, partly due to being in Beacon Hills instead of the familiar Rosewood.“It’s just a fun, different experience and I'm glad that I get to continue the character. She's amazing and I think, honestly, you'll see a little bit more of a feisty side of her now that she's in another element that she's not used to.”
