Cast of PLL Talk Girl Power and Friendship

Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson and Shay Mitchell talked about PLL friendships and girl power at the ABC Family upfront presentation in New York.  (Check out photos of the PLL cast in NYC).

Troian Bellisario, Spencer on PLL, talked about the friendship between the Liars in PLL.  The friendship between the girls really grows with each season.

Lucy Hale, Aria on PLL, said that there are so many twists and turns in Pretty Little Liars.  However, the one thing that remains consistent is the friendship and the bond the Liars have.  Lucy thinks PLL is about friendship and girl power.  She’s happy to represent that.

Shay Mitchell, Emily on PLL, thinks Emily is a role model to a lot of girls.  Emily stays true to who she is. 

Ashley Benson, Hanna on PLL, thinks every girl can identify with one of the four main characters.  Ashley thinks PLL is about women empowerment.
