"Oh man this is hard. Papaw, you were a good man and you lived your life right. A wonderful husband, giving father, and proud grandfather. You were a man of God and you loved all of us so fiercely. Your journey with Alzheimer’s was long and hard and you fought until the very end. It makes me so happy to know you are finally at rest and at peace. We all love you down here and I can’t wait to see you again. We will have some peanuts and pickled peaches in your honor ! Soaring with the angels and probably out chopping wood somewhere in heaven. 🥰❤️😇", Lucy Hale wrote.
