Lucy Hale visited a Cambodia market and picked up some fried tarantulas, since she wanted to eat some local food. She was surprised that it tasted like a potato chip. A nibble of the tarantula leg was more than enough for her, though. She didn't eat any more. Lucy's friends also tried the fried tarantula, but one friend almost threw up afterwards.
Lucy Hale was happy that she tried the fried tarantula. "It's gross when you think about what we're doing, but we did it!" she told her friends.
Not surprised that Lucy Hale gave fried tarantulas a try, since she's an adventurous eater. She ate chocolate covered larvae and grasshopper tacos during an appearance on LIVE with Kelly and Michael.

Lucy Hale also got an adorable elephant tattoo. She got the small, minimalist line drawing of the elephant on the inside of her right arm. "Tattoos everywhere I go 🐘" she wrote.
Lucy was thrilled that her Life Sentence co-star Elliot Knight came with her to Cambodia. " When your fav human agrees to go on adventures 👫" Lucy Hale captioned this cute photo.
And Elliot Knight was looking forward to their Cambodia adventures. " Time for an adventure!! with a gorgeous little treasure @lucyhale 😆 || #Cambodia @rippleffect_" he captioned the photo below.
Lucy also made some new friends:

Lucy did a bit of sightseeing. She visited the Angkor Wat temple complex in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Angkor Wat is the largest religious monument in the world.
She captioned this photo "In awe of this place 🙏🏼".
Lucy Hale had fun playing with some local toys in Cambodia. Lucy accidentally hit a man with a toy she was playing with and her BFF Elliot Knight couldn’t stop laughing. Lucy shared a video of the incident and captioned it "Just remembering the time I accidentally hit a man with a toy in Cambodia. My aim is impeccable. @itselliotknight @oldwilliamreed 😂".
Lucy Hale also took the time to visit an orphanage in Cambodia. She wrote "Humbled to be here spending time with some magical children in the beautiful country of Cambodia. These kids at the special needs center have so little and I’ve never seen such happiness when we arrived to spend time and play with them. Grateful to have my eyes opened to different ways of life and to recognize what truly is important. This is going to be such an amazing week."
Lucy Hale wrote a sweet goodbye when her trip to Cambodia came to an end.
"Peace out Cambodia. - Every once in a while certain experiences and people open your eyes. Grateful for the remarkable time I had & for the beautiful children we met. Being a very small part of something this extraordinary is something that will stay with me for life & I can’t wait to be back to see the kids next year. And to my new friends- I love you guys !"
Looks like Lucy Hale had a great time in Cambodia, since she plans to visit again next year!
