Photo of the Week: Lucy Hale & Phoebe Tonkin are Lookalikes

Pretty Little Liars actress Lucy Hale took a picture with Australian actress Phoebe Tonkin.  You may recognize Phoebe Tonkin as Hayley Marshall-Kenner on The Vampire Diaries and the spinoff The Originals. She was also on The CW supernatural show The Secret Circle. And she played Cleo Sertori in H2O: Just Add Water.

Lucy Hale shared the photo on Instagram and captioned it "My taller, Australian sister 👭".

Back in 2012, Lucy Hale and Phoebe Tonkin met for the first time. After meeting, Phoebe tweeted " @lucyhale nice to properly meet you tonight see you soon with @Matt_McInnis #doppelganger xx".

The Matt McInnis mentioned in their tweets is another The Secret Circle actor.

So how do all these celebs know each other? Back in 2012, Lucy Hale was dating The Secret Circle actor Chris Zylka for six months. Both Phoebe Tonkin and Matt McInnis were on that show.

These tweets actually occurred shortly after Chris Zylka took to Twitter to post some brutal Twitter comments aimed at Lucy Hale. “There's a difference between celebrities and movie stars. Celebrities fade away, while movie stars stick around forever,"  he wrote.

He followed that up with a tweet that said "Don’t have a girlfriend — she decided she was too good. If you all even knew :( Never any disrespect towards anyone. Only if you say what you say you should stick to it. If you say you love then love,” he tweeted.

After facing backlash on social media for the tweets, he apologized. He tweeted "I'd like to apologize about my previous comments. Lucy is not only one of the most talented people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing but also one of the most beautiful inside, and out. Anyone who's ever watched, or had the pleasure of meeting her knows this to be true. I apologize for tarnishing any view anyone has on this amazing women. I had the honor of loving her. That love will never fade, as your love should never fade from her as well. She's going to change the world one day. And the last thing I want to do is be any reason for her to look bad in any way. She a remarkable human with an infectious personality, and a heart bigger than anyone's I've ever know. Proud to love her. And I'll continue to be her biggest fan as I know she will to me too. Love you all and be well and don't forget."

Coincidentally, PLL star Ashley Benson, Paris Hilton and Chris Zylka posed for a photo together at Paris Hilton's birthday party. (Paris Hilton and Chris Zylka are engaged).
