Lucy Hale and Katelyn Tarver Throwback Photo from "American Juniors"

Lucy Hale shared a throwback photo of herself and of musician Katelyn Tarver from when they competed on the show American Juniors in 2003. American Juniors was a spinoff of the singing competition show American Idol.

Lucy also posted a photo of herself getting to the hotel from LAX when she was 14 years old. It was her first time in Los Angeles. Lucy was wearing an Abercrombie outfit in this photo.

American Juniors was a little different than American Idol. On American Juniors, the goal was to be one of the final five contestants. These five contestants would create a singing group. Lucy Hale was one of the five finalists. The group, called American Juniors, consisted of members Lucy Hale, Taylor Thompson, Tori Thompson, Chauncey Matthews, and Danielle White. The group disbanded in 2004 after releasing an album.
