Troian Bellisario shared this sweet photo of her baby daughter clutching her finger. She thanked her friends for their love and protection, giving a special shout-out to her husband for being so supportive.
Troian wrote "I cannot express how grateful I am. To the people who have protected us and kept our growing family safe and respected our privacy. To our tribe for expanding with grace and exponential amounts of love. To my @halfadams for being so supportive during every moment of my pregnancy and her birth. And to whatever incredible force of fate that brought this baby girl into our lives. I couldn’t be more proud to be her mother. To bring a new girl into this world and to do my best to raise her to be kind, strong and whatever the heck she wants to be."
Patrick J. Adams shared the same photo and wrote "The world just got 8lbs heavier. Thank you to everyone who fought for and protected our privacy during this incredible and beautiful time in our lives. Everyone is happy and healthy and loving every moment of this. I could not be more excited to bring a baby girl into this world at this moment. We will raise her to be powerful, to always speak her mind and heart and to live without fear. It’s a brand new day and a brave new world and they are both beautiful."
Troian Bellisario and her husband have not publicly announced what name they chose for their first child. The couple have been carefully guarding the privacy of their daughter.
Troian Bellisario later reflected on her pregnancy, stating that it was a time of both joy and fear. She also shared intimate photos of herself in the bathtub while pregnant with her daughter.
"#fbf to what feels like another world and another life but was really only 2 months ago. Pregnancy was an incredible time: Full of joyous celebration, true tests of patience and quiet moments of great solitude, uncertainty and fear. My greatest hope was that I could experience those months without public comment or exposure, without being asked by the outside world to define my experience or my feelings around it. Because until she was born everything felt truly undefined and open ended. Looking back now, I want to express an ocean of gratitude for the people who held this space for me, this privacy for me and for the time I was able to take to experience it. (Also arguing with paparazzi while 9 months pregnant helped bring out my inner mama bear so thanks for that🐻) Thank you @elizabethmessinafor photographing me in such a strange and wonderfully beautiful time and for helping me celebrate my body and my transformation into motherhood," Troian shared.
